A community of Furs who are made on all things Linux ^_^
The for
linuxfurs rules are as follows:
NOTE: "We" henceforth shall refer to "the community owner/maintainers. The following rules were based on those used ongeek_furs.
1) Be polite and courteous. Debate and dissenting opinions are welcome and encouraged (nothing like a good debate) but don't let your emotions take over. Arguements and flaming are not welcome.
2) Please at least attempt to use proper English grammar and spelling. Abbreviations and l33t-speak are OK, so long as the posts aren't full of it.
3) LJ-Cut anything long or sizable like images. Not everybody is on broadband and not everybody has the same screen resolution that you might have. Also please try and use short URLs, as long ones can affect how the pages are displayed. If you absolutely must use a long URL, then please use HTML to breakdown said URL.
4) No quizzes or memes in the community. Period. Posts with them will be deleted.
5) Please keep posts WorkSafe. Many of our users (especially myself) access while at work. Posting Non-WorkSafe material can jepordise their job at worst. There should be no reason to post Non-WorkSafe content here anyway. :P
We operate a three strike system withinlinuxfurs. If your post or comment violates these rules you will get one warning and then the offending post/comment will be deleted unless it is amended by those responsible. Should these rules be violated again then a second warning and the offending post/comment will be deleted immediately. If this happens a third there will be no warning to the offending party and those responsible WILL be banned.
If you are here trolling you will be banned. Straight off. Your only warning is right here in the user info. You will not be told again. If you get banned and come back with another username, you will be reported to LJ Abuse without hesistation. We have no tolerance for trolls.
Sorry for the harsh feeling to the rules, but we would like to keep things nice and happy here, although we wont stop you from bitching about things so long as you are reasonable.
