No internet connection, among some sound issues
I've googled this problem and I havne't found anything.
When I login at the terminal I type startx. when KDE loads I try to sign onto gaim, or open fire fox. I get an error message saying I have no internet connection. but it was working fine before I restarted my computer.
the reason I restarted is: I had snd_drivers loaded. but I was getting system sounds but when I sent and recieved messages via gAIM I never got any sounds. I tried to load the snd_driver again to no avail, I logged out and restarted.
any help would be appreciated
