Weird mouse problem
I posted about this problem in the 
linux community probably about 6 months ago, but I still haven't been able to fix my problem. Basically I installed Mandrake dual boot with XP on my Inspiron 8100. Everything works fine except for my mouse pointer. It's like the mouse pointer is transparent. If I move my mouse around, stuff on the screen highlights as I go over it, but the pointer itself is not visible, making it hard to do stuff. This happens with both my USB mouse and the internal touchpad. Anybody know what this could be? It would seem to me that it's a software setting somewhere and not a hardware incompatibility, but I'm not sure.
