debian, dhcp, and resolv.conf
i have a debian system (which is foreign to me- all our other boxes are redhat-ish) that's getting DHCP, but needs to have the search string in resolv.conf remain different than what DHCP provides.
can i use the dns-search parameter in /etc/network/interfaces with a DHCP interface, or will that only work with static IPs? if it only works with static, what's the solution?
