GAIM
is there an IM program that runs in Linux that will allow me to do direct connects and file sharing?
Currently I use GAIM but that does not allow me to do that and I am all about 3rd party software and I harbor many things against AOhelL so I personally don't wish to use their Linux version.
The only reason I use AOL instant messenger now is that is what most of my friends use and I have had difficulties with getting exodus to be a good chat client for me and Jabber has been a pain also.
