hey. I'm having troubles connecting to the net on my linux box with my modem b/c of course I have a winmodem which linux doesn't recognize. My teacher told me that all PCI modems are winmodems and to get a ISA type modem b/c linux will recognize it. Problem is I just upgraded to a new motherboard and I don't have any ISA slots. So I was wondering if they were any other alternatives? Gimme suggestions. Thanks :)
