Ok, so at the recommendation of most members, i have gone out and purchased a new WIFI card, supported by Linux. its the D-Link DWL-650. It has either the Prism or Orinico, but it has one. Its recognized and approved by Linux, or something. Its on some list of drivers, and it says Linux supported. I inert the card, it recognizes it fine, and it lets me configure it. Its configured completely right. everything is as it should be, however, on boot WLAN0 FAILED is what im seeing. Its not connecting. I have done everything i can possibly think of to try to get it to work. I bought the new SUPPORTED card, installed it and everything. its FINALLY recognizing WLAN0 on boot, but its failing. Any suggestions would be appreciated a lot.
thanks
