Sound problems
from /var/log/syslog:
modprobe: Can't locate module sound-slot-1
modprobe: Can't locate module sound-service-1-0
I get these little bastards when sound plays from Opera (only place I've attempted).. The sound, of course, does not play, be it via a plugin or just testing the app sounds. I can use XMMS just fine, though.
I'm running Slackware 9 and Windowmaker, standard install. Except the HDD used to be in a completely different PC, so I may have made a few modifications back in the day.. but modules.conf is empty. (As a side note, I have Win98 on a different partition on this drive -- when I first plugged it in, Linux booted fine, took me about an hour to get Win98 to work ;))
I don't really know much about the hardware; the cs46xx module gets autoprobed, and like I said, it works, so I don't think that's the problem.
Any suggestions? I can alias the modules to off to kill the syslog messages, but this doesn't fix the sound. :D
*EDIT* I am able to get sound just fine in Mozilla. I don't see any detailed sound configuration for Opera or anything though.
