Mozilla

i don't know what's up with mozilla. it has always worked consistenly until just recently. in just the lst couple days a vast majority of web sites are now displaing a pop up that says "the connection was refused when attempting to contact "www.whatever.com" and the page goes no further? my internet connection is fine (I spent a good deal of time with a tech from my local ISP). testing with konqueror works to retrieve pages, but of course mozilla has all my plug-ins and what not. Nothing has changed recently unless there was an update in the testing distro (that is I'm using Debian testing) that I missed.

Any suggestions?

Also I've noticed Gaim is not staying up either...
