ILiA welcomes all organisations involved in the global lithium value chain, from mines and refineries through to OEMs and recyclers. There are two types of membership:

CORE MEMBER

  • Core Members are companies that produce at least 30,000 tonnes per year LCE from their own mineral and/or brine resources.
    Core Members provide strategic leadership for the association and are the driving force behind its work. Core Members form the Executive Committee and Sub-Committees, and vote at the AGM.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

  • Associate Members are all other commercial organisations in the lithium supply chain, including end users (glass, ceramics, grease, metallurgy…), battery material manufacturers, cell makers, OEMs, non-integrated refiners, analysts, samplers, explorers, resource developers, financial institutions and recyclers. Associate members play a key role in ILiA’s working groups and vision. As key downstream stakeholders, Associates can join Sub-Committees, attend all ILiA events at member rates, and observe plenary sessions and the AGM.
