In an "out of the blue" moment, we had a real estate agent (that we talked to a few months ago) reach out to us and ask if we would be willing to show our house to one of her clients. We decided to let them, they decided to put in an offer, and after some negotiations, we signed an agreement yesterday to sell the house. There are a lot of pieces to still work out (like what are we buying next), but we feel confident that it will all work out. We have felt very strongly that this is a blessing that is being given to us and we are grateful to have the opportunity to accept it. This is an out of the blue moment for the books!
Zach's mission book
Zach's mission book arrived and I am really happy with how it all turned out. I sent Zach some pictures and he is happy too...perfect!
In Indianapolis for the Q1 team meeting
I headed to Indianapolis for our Q1 meetings last week. Our offices have moved to a new space in the Elanco Headquarters building. This was the view one night...spectacular!
I arranged a team event to go to the Pacer's game. It ended up being a super good game and the Pacers won right at the buzzer.
It was fun to see our name up on the board too!
The meetings went well and the logistics were smooth, so that's always a great thing. Another big event in the books!
A clean slate
I absolutely love having all of the Christmas decorations up and I also love when they are down and everything looks so clean and back to normal.
Welcome in January!
A fun start to Zach's semester
Zach has been sending us pictures of some of the fun things he has been doing...he is living a good life right now!
Zach is 3 or 4 rows up on the very right hand side...his friends sent him this picture when they saw him on ESPN at the basketball game!
Hanging with friends...
More messages about people seeing him on ESPN...he is right in the middle of the screen at the arrow.
He and his friends are on an intermural innertube water polo team - so fun!
Hot tub night with mission friends!
I love that he is having so much fun...soak it all in!
Newsies
We were able to go and see Miguel star in the All-State production of Newsies. It is a huge deal that he got the lead - I think it's the first time in NCHS history. They did a great job with the show and it was super fun to visit with so many friends and celebrate with Miguel after. Congrats Miguel!
