Run Like the Wind

Joanna decided to give Track a try.  Last Friday was her first meet.  She competed in the 1500, the Long Jump, and the Relay Race.  She did fantastic.  It was so fun to watch her race because she's so fast!

These Two

We went to our favorite beach over spring break.  These two are so funny and love playing in the sand but would rather stay far, far away from the freezing water.

Charlie's practicing his ninja pose and Sabrina's "CHEEEEEEESE!" makes her look like she's in pain.  

In 15 years,

we'll be seeing this exact same thing.  Her chillin' with her phone.

Sam's Special Day

Sam was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  That, in itself, made it a super special day.  What put it over the top was the surprise visit from our family from Utah who made it just 2 hours before the baptism.  We appreciate all of our family's love and support.

Their visit was crazy fast and most of that time was spent in the bounce house...ha!

Daddy-Daughter/ Mother-Son Dances

Joanna and her dad went to the annual Daddy-Daughter dance again.  But for the first time ever, there was a Mother-Son dance, too, a few weeks later.  Sam and I were stoked!

Go Dogs!

Joanna's little hula group got to perform during halftime at the Bulldog's basketball game.  She was really nervous about performing in front of the crowd but she did so great!

Let It Go and a Couple of Superheroes

Sabrina is obsessed with Elsa. She points to the t.v. and says "Elsa" all day long willing it to turn on.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.  I can only watch that movie so many times.  All princesses are "Elsa" actually.  Any pretty girl is "Elsa."  She's so funny and has so many words now with "Elsa" being one of the first... haha.  Here she is singing with one of Anadi's dolls (she too is an Elsa fanatic).  Charlie and Anadi are in the background in their own superhero world doing superhero things.

Girly Girl

Sabrina is the girliest girl.  She always has a baby in her arms and even pretends that its "caying" (crying).  She pats the baby so lovingly and says, "It's ok, baby."  Its the sweetest thing.  Oh, and her purses are filled with anything she can fit because who know when you might need a puzzle piece or Charlie's left flip-flop?

Field trip

Charlie and his pals got to visit the fire station for preschool.  They learned so much and had a great time!

A New Year, A New Post

My kids love going back in this blog's archives to look at the videos and pictures of themselves.  I'm going to have to post a lot more so that they have stuff to look back on.  Well, at least once a month :)

We went to Utah over winter break.  We got to spend time with the cousins and play in the snow.

We spent some time in Temple Square to see the lights and the nativities.
