The kids went back to school today, I know parents everywhere are rejoicing. I was talking with a friend recently, a mom of younger kids, and discussing how things shift as your kids get older. I’m at that weird and wonderful parenting phase where school starting is no longer a massive relief. When my kids were younger I really really craved a routine. But now at 16 and 14 they’re more like mini adults who are fairly easy and fun to hang out with. I mean, I’m still very much in a parenting role (and in many cases I think it’s even more important to be present now than when they were younger), but I don’t need the break like I did when they were younger. Does that make sense?
Anyway, cheers to all of you out there breathing the sigh of relief. I’ve been there.
Let’s dive into some new things. Like my new casual jacket I just got that makes me feel 15 years younger when I wear it. Paired with a sweater I got maybe 4-5 weeks ago that I’ve already worn 4 times b/c it’s that good.

Wearing: denim jacket (more sizes here) XS, striped boxy sweater XS, light wash jeans 26, white street sneakers
Here are some more new arrivals on my radar!

striped sweater, squiggle knit pant set, blue printed dress, floral mini dress,
checked dress, floral jacket top, green silk track pants, blue stripe shirtdress,
navy lace silk pants, pink drawstring dress, white polka dot dress, cinched top
This blue printed dress is absolutely adorable and is from Tuckernuck’s brand. It feels like something you’d find on Moda Operandi. Donni silk track pants have been restocked. So cute with sweater now and with tees this spring. I shared this blue stripe shirtdress on my stories and it was super popolar. It’s adorable.
I ordered this jacquard jacket top so fast! It’s another piece that looks like it could be $2000 but is under $200. I’ll wear it as both a top, and open as a jacket.
Happy Tuesday :)
