Well, whichever way they call it doesn't really matter. It's a done deal *and* we got the added bonus of almost every republican in the state got their ass handed to them last night!!

There is a very real possibility that my state will turn blue for the first time in 30 years tonight. I will be soo very proud of us if we pull it off. We are a weird mixed lot though. Most of the folks here aren't big on straight party tickets. They kept going with republican presidents, but kept electing democratic governors at the same time. Most are predicting that it will flip this time and we'll end up with the truly vile, bush-wannabe, Pat McCrory as governor while the presidency goes to Obama. I really don't want to see that happen. I want us turning a bright, brilliant shade of blue across the board!

I hope we all wake up to really good news tomorrow!!

First things first: Work is going really, really well. I passed my 90 day review with big gold stars, a nice raise, and insurance! Not just insurance but insurance for both me and the hubby! Awesomeness! They are also sending me to Photoshop bootcamp next week so that I can expand my position to include processing raw images for the graphic design dept. I already know enough photoshop to do what they need, but I wasn't about to turn down free training. I've already pixelated my first pussy - it was a proud moment. *L*

In non-porn movie news:
1.Hellboy was absolutely delightful! I think Del Torro is my new favorite director. The film was everything I wanted it to be and then some. Visually stunning, funny and thoroughly entertaining! And how fabulous is Abe Sapien?

2. The Dark Knight pretty much rocked. Definitely my favorite Batman movie. Bleak, brutal, and an unusually high body count.

3. X-Files: I want to believe. I wish I could say I loved it. I really, really wanted to love it. I didn't. I liked it. I liked it a lot. It's definitely worth seeing. Is it the movie I waited 10 years to see? No. I will go see it again and maybe my opinions will change, but here are my first impressions. ( Cut for spoilersCollapse )
