I can't believe I'm the mother of a TODDLER! Where has this last year gone?! It's been a while and crazy ride, and I wouldn't have traded it for anything!
Ava took her first steps on Sept 18th just a few and after that she stopped, Then on the 26th Keith and I were in the waiting room for Ava's 1 year well check. She decided at that time that it would be a good time to start walking! She was a walking machine walking back and forth across the waiting room between mommy and daddy!

She is a walking machine now, only when she wants to be though, she still crawls primarily but will get in her mood that she wants to walk for a bit! we're so proud of her!
Ava still has NO teeth, but her doctor is not worried, she said she can see them in there, so we will see!

Hello!!
Hello Friends and Family!
It's been awhile since I've posted. I'm sorry I will try to get better at this thing!
Let's get started! First off, YAY football season started last night, we can't wait, Ava loves her football! We got her a little Cardinals Jersey she just loves it!
Ava will be a year old in less then 2 weeks! where as the time gone?! She is a crawling champion and loves to pull her self up on anythign and everything. She is not walking yet but we don't think it will be much longer she is starting to let go of things that she holds on to just for a few seconds, but that few seconds every once in a while gets her stronger and more aware that she CAN do it!
Ava also has NO TEETH. we keep saying oh she's grumpy, here comes the tooth, only to have nothing pop thru! at this rate we figure she'll be 18 before she gets a tooth, but that's ok I love seeing her toothless smile.
She has also come to LOVE minnie mouse, as much as I have tried to push Tigger on her (so she can be like mommy) she goes straight for minnie and freaks out laughing and chewing on Minnie mouse. We are planning her first birthday party for the 17th of course we are having it minnie mouse theme'd , and a pool party becuase Ava is a fish and loves to swim and take baths!
Ava told me no for the first time today, I was putting her in the carseat and she threw her minnie on the floor. i looked at her and said "Ava, did you just throw minnie on the floor? that's not very nice!" she looked up at me smiled, and said NO. it was very hard not to laugh!
We also took our family vacation this summer, the week of the 4th of July we headed over to Cali for fun in the sun, beach, zoo's and family time. Ava had a blast on the beach eating sand and playing in the water.
Well I think that is all for now, I'll update after Ava's birthday party with pictures for everyone to see!

RSV..
So things have been pretty crazy around here and i haven't had the energy to update so I apologize!
Ava has been pretty sick the last week-week and a half. She's had to get breathing treatments every 4 hours since thursday. good news is that they are working and she's getting better and not weezing as much, but she still has a horrible cough.. She is finally getting her voice back though, LOL and she knows it!
at her check up when we went for her 4 month check up she was 25 inches long and 13 pounds 7.8 ounces. 2 weeks later when we took her becuase she was sick she is now 14 pounds 5 oz and 26 1/2 inches long!
She has started to eat some solid foods. we started her out with oatmeal w/bananas which she loves and now we have started her on sweet potatoes!

Growing up too fast!!
BIG BIG news in the world of Ava!! SHE ROLLED OVER TONIGHT!!!! from her belly on to her back! Im so proud of my little monkey!!! I got it on video, I'll see if there is a way to upload it on here.
Yesterday we also went and got Ava's 3 month photo's taken.. here are the 4 that we choose..

Happy New Year!!
What a way to end the New Year! Ava, Grandad and Luanne and I were out having dinner, someone broke in to my dad's car (which I was driving) and stole Ava's Diaper Bag.. The one time I leave it in the car... her medical shot records were in there, her special piggy slippers, my itouch.. ugh... let's hope 2011 is better then 2010 ended!
My mom took 2 steps yesterday with her walker, and some assistance from her PT lady. So that is great and exciting news! we are hoping that she will be home in 2 weeks!
Other Big news for 2011... Ava got her ears pierced! She was SUCH a big girl! She only cried for a matter of maybe 10 seconds.. the price to pay for beauty! she looks too adorable with those cute earings let me tell you!
Ava has to go to the doctor this month for her 4 MONTH CHECK UP!! I can't belive it! She will be 4 months on the 20th.. where has the time gone?!
Ava now has her own "playroom" we have given the Den over to her she got so many toys for Christmas we had no where else to put them. so we no logner have a den, but a playroom, I'm sure she'll enjoy it as she gets older!
I think that is all for now... I will update again next week! Ava is getting her 3 month Pictures taken on Saturday so be on the look out for updated pictures!

Weekly Update!
Hello!
Ava is still sick.. poor girl.. :( we have started putting Rice cereal in her bottles to see if that helps with one of the issues but now on top of what was going on before she's got a cold and her little nose keeps getting stuffy :(
She's getting used to a new schedual, she's asleep by 8pm every night because she gets up at 4 am with me for work. but that's ok as soon as we get to grandma's house she goes back to sleep until 9am. It's nice working from home and being able to have her with me!
My mom had her back surgery on monday, everything went well she is still in the hospital we hope she will be getting transfered to a Rehab place soon. She's upset about this because she will miss Christmas and miss Ava opening her gifts, but I assured her we would bring Christmas to her and bring Ava's presents so she can see her open them!
I Will try to post again this week, if I don't make it (working from 430 am til 530 pm is taking a toll on me!)
