  8. Very small update post right now. Added: For some reason all previous releases of the album/single containing the song Cross Off with Chester was removed and new releases of the album/single were released. The only difference in those new releases is barcode of them (the song codes are the same) and that the album is available in Hi-Res 24-bit/44.1kHz for the first time. But those new releases are very restricted in terms of on how many digital platforms they are, the old releases were on 7digital and few more, the new are literally only in few digital platforms. I have no idea since when those new releases were available, I found only the info that they maybe were released in January 03, 2023 or at least the files were delivered to digital platforms on that time, so I use that as a main release date for both. // And now here's the thing that i originally planned to do only for myself, since I'm that much interested on digital releases and covers but, I decided to publish it for everyone. Here is the zip package with all cover artworks and all their versions that Linkin Park albums has/had on digital platforms (so all artworks from there without physical releases). Only albums, I thought I will do the same for the singles but, it's kind of pain in the ass, there's alot of those, maybe I will do it in the later time. Also, half or most of them are on Linkinpedia already. So with those albums covers I included literally all versions, what that means is even versions that had slightly different size, were cut differently (so that would means also the ones that has a little bit more artwork then other version), the ones with slightly different colors, or the different will be just like 2 pixels of black border on it (one of the cover for MTM), or just a different PA logo in different spot. So I'm 100% sure you will not want to having them all, especially the ones with such a tiny small differences, but since they were officially delivered by the label, then I'm including those too. Also, I included the actual cover of the albums on apple music the ones that have animated artwork, they are mentioned in the text file as "2023 iTunes/Apple Music" and yes! I know that those are just a screenshots of the animated cover that apple music is currently using but those covers are also in the m4a files, when those are downloaded from iTunes. The covers in the zip are numbered as 01, 02, 03... etc and every folder has a text file "00.txt" including the same numbers of those covers and next to them there is a barcode of the release to which that cover belonged. So if you're interested that much enough, you can go to the site, use the search bar and enter those barcodes to find that release. Don't be surprise that two different covers might have the same barcodes - I have a look in to the 2009/2010 version of the iTunes pages and some of the releases had different versions of the covers than they have it right now. The label updated the covers of many releases over the years. Many covers were not archived but some of them (like Lost In The Echo cover and more) are still on the actual server that Apple use for the iTunes/Apple Music stuff, so if anyone need a cover from any iTunes release PM me, I might help you to get it. That's all for now. Some of those covers are not on Linkinpedia, I will add some of them there soon. // More proper update post mentioning more changes that was made on the site from the end of the December till now will be posted in the later time, in few weeks.
  9. Rob with blonde hair? That’s a new for me! Haha
  10. amazing work man LP1 will always be the best.
  11. There are some truly rare photos here - we'd love to add them. Great find, some of these were likely lost in time forever. Amazing, amazing work here. We will get these put up. Have never seen quite a few of these!
  12. Hi guys, For the past several months, I’ve been digging deep into old Linkin Park fan sites using the Wayback Machine, and I’ve managed to recover a large collection of rare live photos — including many dating back to the year 2000. I’m sending you today a ZIP archive containing all the photos from the year 2000 that I’ve been able to find so far. The archive is fully organized by concert date, and each folder includes the photos and a .txt file with the original source link for proper credit and verification. I also have additional rare photos from 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004, which I’ll be happy to share with you soon. Please feel free to use these photos for Linkinpedia or any other archival purpose if you find them useful. I really respect the incredible work you do for the Linkin Park community — thank you so much for everything you’ve done to preserve the band’s live history. Here is a download link to the ZIP archive with the 2000 photos : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1x3KNRtTbjTdObqOCQNAygK--flKsPtXM/view?usp=sharing Thanks, Xero96
  13. That doesn't sound like Mike at all. He's an artist he would never say something like that
  14. Well I feel like he could be saying that about FZ era which is understandable, but he also has flipped moods dramatically (2009 metal demos to ATS, or pop demos to THP) so I wouldn't count it out at all
  15. From Zero is basically their HYBRID THEORY for this lineup. Of course, I'm not expecting the band to do full crazy experimental shit on the next record. Their approach would obviously be somehow similar to METEORA. Elevate the From Zero sound while also bringing new sound, new sonic landscape, etc. It may take years for them to get back to experimental mode probably when they're not touring anymore in the future and just focus on experimenting in the studio. (JUST LIKE THE BEATLES).
  16. I'm definitely misquoting here but I believe Mike said a couple of years ago or maybe around the time FZ came out that he or the band wasn't interested on experimenting again. I'd kill to have another bonkers record like that, unlikely probably though.
  17. Chester's vocals sound very powerful and dark i don't think that even him in his last years would make them sound good. One of a kind songs Chester's dark mode was awesome he kinda sounds similar in System and then he stopped trying to sing in this dark way.
  18. Same here! Really wanna see Carousel live one day!!!
  19. Sounds like Colin’s live added some good color to what the band’s cooking up, even if the thread stayed pretty quiet. I’ve shared clips from similar sessions before, and getting a bit more reach helped spark better chats with other fans. I once opted to Buy Likes to give my posts a tiny nudge so folks actually saw them, and it made the convo way more active.
  20. still sucks that they never cared about not playing carousel and part of me those songs are so fucking good.
  21. I think he did well on Stick And Move from 1999
  22. Did you guys have anything else planned with Jeff after this? Anything in the works? And yeah, regarding demos like Turn To Grey and Ashes, or Xero versions of Carousel and Slip, maybe someone could find more promising leads, but for the time being it seems like only the band and Jeff have those demos. Jeff is not going to leak anything (I think he still works in the music industry so he has to toe the line, which is not something Dave Garrett or Andrew Lanoie had to worry about) but it seems like there isn't an issue with him inviting other people to listen to the tracks privately (confiscating phones, I was also in the Michael Jackson community and there's a lot of demos that got leaked because someone recorded them at seminars by former producers or collaborators). For songs with Mark Wakefield's vocals (and maybe also songwriting), we need to consider that Mike already had to do some convincing to get Mark's ok for the ones we got on HT20. Maaaaaybe we could get Ashes one day (Mike used to tell people Pictureboard wasn't worth it but after HT20 he was like "I never said it was a bad song", so who knows?), for Turn To Grey it's less likely if Mark is in the song, which is what it sounds like from this thread.
  23. Finally found the quote about the live drums from Kyle: In May 1999, they entered the studio with producer Mudrock to record the famous Hybrid Theory EP, a demo CD that was passed around to new fans and record companies. "Most of it, we did in Shinoda's bedroom because he had Pro Tools or something. I think it's Pro Tools on his computer in his bedroom. So we would do the stuff in the studio, the main tracks. And then, because it's too expensive to just do all the overdubs and everything, we would do all the overdubs in Shinoda's bedroom." Their studio time was used to sample Rob Bourdon's hits from his drum kit. "It was mainly just getting the drum tracks down because he [Mike] lived in an apartment in Glendale and so we couldn't really record drums in an apartment in Glendale." Rob doesn't play live on the final songs, his drum sounds were actually programmed.
  24. I would love to have also the CD version in the boxset
  25. Seeing more pre-10/24/Dave coming back shows around that time is always awesome, but I think the holy grail for the entire community is still to get anything between 97 and early 2000, even more rare and impossible than discovering these webcasts but I still have some hope, someday.
  26. Do you know where I can find both versions of the masters? I don’t think I’ve heard the different version.
  27. METEORA sounds cinematic and very urban-sounding album. Of course they can still replicate that sound without Don Gilmore's touch.
  28. EDIT: Read your reply again. Actually pretty precise so forget it
