in my other blog http://www.lordjester.com/blog/

Subject matter is Same Sex Domestic Partner rights vs Opposite Sex Domestic Partner Rights.

In case you missed it, I have created a syndicated feed (Imagelrdjester_feed) that you can add as an LJ friend to get my posts on LJ. If you don't want to get an account on my other blog to post responses, you are welcome to post in my most recent LJ entry.

I created a Live Journal Syndicated feed Imagelrdjester_feed to let those that are interested keep tabs on my ever diminishing posts.

I may start up more, but no guarantees.

For now, to post a reply you need to register, but I am thinking I am going to try to incorporate OpenID so you LJ account will be sufficient.

Edit: Apparently LJ is not updating the feed right away.

in my blog.

I am likely going to be ending this journal.

I have started using my own hosted Blog (http://www.lordjester.com/blog) and like the fact that I have more customization abilities there.

I will keep this account and might post here from time to time. Even if it is a post to check my other Blog.

I will try to keep up with your posts, more so than I am now. I will subscribe to your syndicated feeds, but that only works for public posts, if it is friends only then I am SOL without checking LJ.

I will also be creating a sydication feed of my Blog on LJ that you can subscribe to to see my posts here if you don't want to have to be bothered to visit it direectly.

Went to Honda of Kirkland and test drove an '04 Element. We left with it a few hours later. :)

It rides nice and seems to have decent power, contrary to some reviews. It is no sports car, it doesn't accelerate to 60mph in 4 seconds, but it is not sluggish.

We were even able to add bumper to bumper and actually get lower payments by stretching to an 84 month rather than a 72 month term.

I wanted to negotiate a lower price, but I was not in the mood to play the games. It was listed on thier site for $1k less than what they were asking for. I was going to try to bring them down 1k - 1.5k, but after finding that out I was fine with it.

The salesman Micheal was great and the guy we xigned the paperwork with, Steve, was doubly so. Steve didn't try to hard sell frivolous things and actually pointed out the 84 month term as an option as BECU only add .25% for the additional 12 months, unlike Bank of America that adds over 2%.

He also was quick to point out that we should re-fi in July or so and we'll likely drop our intrest by 1 - 2 points down to 5 or so.

All in all, a very good experience. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new/used car, a Honda especially.

So, yesterday I left work early and Debra and I went to Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU). Monday she had gone and was approved for a $2000 line of credit and a $15000 car loan. We reapplied jointly hoping my income would raise it up.

It didn't change the line of credit, but it did bump the car loan to $20000.

Also, I finally got a credit card. They approved me for a $1000 unsecured card. :)

It is about time I caught a break on that. Credit is a catch-22. You can't get credit if you don't have any.

Well, my name is on all three, so my credit should get better quickly. :)

*Does a little happy dance.*
