Not sure why you’re making mistakes? I can help. I tutor students all around the world. Here are some of the big benefits of tutoring:

We’ll use video chat with Zoom.

What sets me apart

  1. Other tutors often teach according to set curriculums. I can work with whatever study method you’re currently using.
  2. Major companies use temporary tutors who are headed to a T14 and doing it on a short term basis. I’m doing this because I enjoy it and because I find the LSAT fascinating.
  3. I’ve taught the LSAT for 15 years and scored a 177. Whatever issue you’re facing, I’ve seen it before and know how to help improve it.
  4. I can show you how to read more effectively. Not only is this useful for the LSAT, but it will carry over to law school.
  5. I’ve written explanations for over 4,700 LSAT questions. This gives me unique insight into patterns within the test that go beyond question types.

Rate

  • I charge $375 for a 60 minute tutoring session. Package clients get a lower rate + access to all LSATHacks courses and tools
  • There’s a satisfaction guarantee on the first lesson (Note: this is not a free trial)
  • You get a day by day study plan which we’ll customize for you.

Here’s a couple reviews from former students. You can also find more reviews on the purchase page for my member rate tutoring lessons above.

I worked with Graeme for close to 5 months in preparation for the February LSAT. Mastery of a given subject is often exhibited in the ability to simplify the complex, interpret the arcane, and convey it all in the most direct and efficient manner.

This, is precisely what Graeme has achieved in his teaching of the LSAT and in his work with me as a student. The LSAT is a notoriously grueling, intimidating obstacle to law school, but the insights, techniques and principles I developed working with him have literally transformed this exam into a test like any other. This kind of breakthrough is priceless, and the benefits that accrue from acing the LSAT are well worth the effort.

Don’t get me wrong, there is no magic pill to mastering the LSAT. Graeme is diligent, hard working and extremely supportive;  and  expects nothing less of his students. Success on this test may not come easy, but in my experience, working with him is the closest you can get to a ticket to a 170+.

– Patrick T.

Graeme knows the LSAT as well as anyone, anywhere. I met with Graeme twice, once to go over Logic Games and then again to polish my Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning. His approach to RC in particular is at the cutting-edge – simple, effective, and unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. I had been stuck at the 165-169 range for a while on self-study, and since talking it out with Graeme I have consistently been writing in the 170s.

I’m confident he can have something to offer for prospective test-takers at any level. In fact, stronger candidates that just need some polishing would probably benefit more from his tailored advice than a slow-moving course aimed at bringing everyone up to speed.

Perhaps due to living in a smaller law market (QC doesn’t require the LSAT for most law schools), his rates are surprisingly low considering his expertise. Make the best use of your LSAT budget – see Graeme.

I can’t recommend Graeme enough! After struggling to break past the mid-160s on my own, I reached out to him for help – and wow, what a difference! Thanks to his guidance, I hit a 171 on the September LSAT! 🎉

What makes Graeme amazing is how he completely changed the way I approached the test. He taught me to visualize everything I was reading, both RC and LR. This clicked for me in a way nothing else had! His Reading Comp strategies were especially game-changing – from his spaced repetition technique to his tips on passage review, I went from constantly running out of time to finishing with confidence.

But here’s what really sets Graeme apart: he genuinely LOVES the LSAT (yes, really!) and it shows in his teaching. Despite doing this for years, he gets excited about breaking down questions and helping students improve. In between tutoring sessions, he was generous with his time and would answer every question I had through email.

If you’re aiming for a top score, especially breaking into the 170s, Graeme is your guy. Thanks to him, I not only hit my dream score but also got a speedy acceptance to my dream school. Graeme, I cannot thank you enough!

Graeme is super helpful! His approaches/tips often help me break through my long-term obstacles. In many occasions, I couldn’t figure out why the correct answer was right and why the wrong answers were wrong after I read all online explanations I could find, but once I talked to Graeme, things became very clear to me. Graeme is not only good at LSAT, but is good at teaching. He is not like “I just know the correct answer is this because I am smart”; he will tell you very clear reasoning why the answer is that. I got 168 in June by studying myself, and I got 170 in Oct. after I took classes with Graeme, but actually I think my progress is more than 2 points because I got perfect at LG, so if the June test had been without LG, I would have got a score lower than 168. I am happy with my progress!

Tutoring with Graeme has been a game-changer! He has been so understanding and flexible, and his email answers were timely and thorough. I was already scoring in the 170s in timed PTs, but was unable to understand why I could not translate that into test-day performances (168 score on official LSAT). His coaching was comprehensive, and included stress-management techniques, which I found out were one of the major issues standing in the way of getting my goal score. He helped understand why I was choosing the wrong answer, and gave me ways to systematically tackle different question types.

As someone who has previously used a different tutoring service, I can say that Graeme’s experience, patience, and sound strategies have really helped me learn to trust myself and be more confident in my approach to questions on the test. On test day, I felt ready and equipped to tackle the test.

I just want to reiterate: thank you so much Graeme! It has been awesome to get to work with you!!

Do you offer any guaranteed point increase (like 10+ guarantee or 170+ score course)? Thanks for all the great tips and explanations.

Really happy you like the site! Graeme does not offer any score guarantee on any LSATHacks products, including tutoring. However, I would encourage you to book a free consult to discuss your goals and realistic score increases. You can book one here: https://calendly.com/graemeblake/lsathacks-tutoring-consult/?month=2024-07.

Edit: I would also like to add that the first lesson comes with a satisfaction guarantee! If you feel that the tutoring does not match your needs, you can get a refund.

    Graeme,

I signed up for the course beta, but would you still offer tutoring? I feel like I need specific advice to my situation. I’ve been studying for over a year, but still can’t hit my target score.

Just a computer, internet connection, microphone and Skype. Webcams are nice, but not essential.

Hi. I really appreciate your explanations. I am surprised so many parts of the LSAT are not explained in many LSAT tutoring books. So I think I might have a question this week about the LSAT as I finish preparing for it. Do you take small incidental questions by email if you are looking through your explanations online? If you do, where do you send them to by email?

    Sincerely,

    Meadow Phoenix

The best thing is to leave comments on the explanations themselves. That way everyone can see clarifications I write.

I do offer paid email support, which people occasionally use instead of tutoring lessons. How that works is that people periodically send me questions, and I’ll write how much time it took to reply. Then you’d pay according to my normal rate once enough time was spent.

(I answer one-off questions by email of course, but ongoing stuff is for paying students. I prefer to focus free work on creating more explanations everyone can use.)
