In-n-Out meet Macy, Macy...this is In-n-Out! Welcome to the real world.
Being 2 sure comes with it's advantages! (Or after 2yrs mom is getting lazier by the day!) Either way, in Macy's first week as a two year old she had her first ice cream (pictured below) and her first hamburger! We had to get it on film... the important milestones ya know?
Macy celebrated her 2nd birthday last week! She had a "2-3-4 joint party" with her friends Jordan (turning 3) and Brooke (turning 4)! The party was at an Ice Cream Parlour and wow, wasn't that a sight to see! It was a huge hit, and Macy who had ice cream for the first time ever that day, was in sugar heaven!
{Pictured here: Camden - 2nd pic., Reese - 3rd, and Aly - 5th pic.}
The annual Thanksgiving Bash in Paradise was a blast as always! Macy and McKenna had a ball together, big surprise, and Carter just took it all in. It is absolutley gorgeous up there and we love the time with ALL the family gathered.
Our friend Lorie took these pics of the kids one day. We have her to thank for being our family's personal photographer (and multi-crafty project maker!) She is awesome and for some reason she loves our kids! Lucky us!
This is how Macy entertains herself while I get ready in the mornings. I promise you, I did not dress her up a bit, she came out of the closet exactly as you see saying "Mommy, Im Daddy!"
Last week we drove down south to support "Uncle Clint" in his last APU home game! (which he did awesome in by the way!) Don't be fooled by the tears in this picture, Macy is a football fanatic! Any sight of bleachers, jerseys, footballs or helmets bring on a "Go Numba Fowdee!" or "Gate Job Unca Tint!" (Even if he's nowhere in sight!) Despite the minor meltdown because of Clint's "yuckys" (aka: sweat) that prevented him from holding her in the picture, Macy had a blast... Carter on the other hand, was one tired boy!
Can you believe Im 2 months already?! Where does the time go?
Thanks Auntie Erica for the coolest onesie EVER!
At my 2 mo. appt I weighed in at 13lbs 2oz! I am HUGE!
Oh and I was a champ about getting my shots! My sister on the other hand was very concerned for me and became extremely upset with the doctor for pinning me down and making me cry. What a good big sister!
A few weeks ago we spent a week at the beach with the Gross family. Macy had a blast with her cousin McKenna and Carter doesn't know it yet but he had lots of fun too with his second cousin little Petey! Macy and McKenna also had a blast eating up all the attention they got from their two single uncles, here's them lovin' on Uncle Kraig!
Our crazy college friends decided to throw a rock party to celebrate Carter's debut last Saturday. What a blast! They definitely went all out with this theme and it was so fun to introduce him to all our dear friends. We are truly blessed!
Mom's disclaimer: Ryan edits and posts these videos before I get a look at them, therefore... I disagree that dancing on the coffee table is safe, infact the day after Ryan posted that she fell off it and got a "boo boo". I also disagree that i couldn't "hack it in Hollywood" ... I prefer to say God had other plans :-) And finally, I sincerely apologize for the slightly white trash (and totally random...) footage of Macy in her diaper! :-) Other than all that...enjoy my precious daughter singing Jesus loves me!
Leave it to Auntie Bob, Uncle Clint and daddy to teach Macy to dance on tabletops! Our little entertainer now rocks out to a couple "hits" she requests by name and sings along with shockingly accurate lyrics! Among her favorites... "Dance Dance", "Black Horse and a Cherry Tree", "Hey Baby", and ofcourse "Ring around the Rosie" and "I love you" from Barney!
Macy has decided to hold no grudges, after getting "worked" by Carter's poop revenge a truce has been called. Macy now loves her baby brother, maybe even a little too much... all I hear all day is "I hold baby Carter", "I give baby Carter binky", "I say hi baby Carter" etc etc... As far as Im concerned "Baby Carter" has the patience of a saint!
Well Carter certainly got his revenge for the "weeble incident"! While Macy was helping me change him (standing at butt end), Carter let out a huge poop that sprayed fountain style all over Macy's face, shirt and hair. You can't see it very well in the pic. (I didn't have time for much photography amidst all the clean-up duties) but trust me, it was hilarious.
Carter is growing by the minute. It is probably some residual growth hormone that seeped into the drinking water from a local dairy. Who knows? But what we do know is that our little baby boy is now 11lbs 13oz.
