Fernando was a great driver and gave us lots of information/fun facts. Interesting trip with several short stops for photos at view points and time for a great lunch too.
Really good to see forest and around other parts of Madeira from Funchal.
Picked up and dropped back at our hotel.
Even had a phone call to see if we had been collected as lots of traffic in city that morning.

One tip: start early. We caught the first bus around 9:30 am, got ahead of crowds, and used the pass to return later when things were quieter. The Yellow Bus route covered just the right mix of city + coast + hillside for our one‑day stay. Friendly drivers, too.

The scooter was waiting for us in the hotel when we arrived. It provided our elderly gentleman a perfect holiday on the hilly streets of Funchal. Easy booking, quality scooter and great service. Added a lot to our trip at Madeira.
