Not entirely sure, but I do know for a fact that they intend a full blanket ban, basically forcing you to pay Google and/or Samsung for a license to make games for Android.

Like sideloading was the entire reason I bought an android, now they are downgrading to iPhone territory.

By the looks of it probably not. And seeing as android is about to ban sideloading/downloadable apps not authorized by Google, I'd say we may never see an updated android release.

There's really not much content to the demo. Too bad it's locked behind Patreon, I've been having conflicts between Patreon and my bank so Im essentially locked out of the extra content.

I guess this another one of those games that was abandoned before it was even functional, itch.io needs to crack down on stuff like this.

It says the game is Android compatible but it doesn't install directly, just downloads a zip file with no way to actually install the game.

It is what I used, albeit a bit older. Haven't tested with elderfield yet but did test it with other games I had, seems to work. Most rpg maker games can be played with joiplay with the rpg maker plug in save for a few rare cases.

It was compatible via third party emulator like I said, I had played it using fossil but wound up getting a new phone and losing Access to the fossil emulator. Unfortunately the person who created it got harassed and wound up taking down all download links to it.

But as it was created with rpg maker it should be compatible with joiplay rpg maker plugin. (But like I said when installing it, it defaults to the fossil plugin which no longer exists)
