Ogawa Plaza (City Hall), which hundreds of police in riot gear had cleared out earlier today in a surprise 5am raid.

• CNN still not reporting anything official on Occupy Oakland.
• HD footage of the tear gas and flash-bang grenades being fired via KTVU.
• Protesters on the ground reporting up to ten rounds of tear gas.
• Photographic evidence to refute OPD's bullshit claims that they didn't use rubber bullets.

It would be brilliant if you can somehow capture the whimsical charm of this film, especially using some of Yann Tiersen's iconic score.

Before Sunrise/Sunset series
Given how dialogue heavy these films are, incorporating audio might prove interesting, as would juxtaposing the differences between their younger and older selves.

Inglourious Basterds
HANS LANDA!1!!! Really, the whole film is brilliant, but you could just slap together a clip reel of Colonel Hans Landa and I'd be more than happy. Why yes, I AM EASY LIKE THAT.

Stand By Me
What can I say about this quintessential piece of my childhood? My favorite aspect of the story is the friendship between Gordie and Chris. And if you could find a way to use period-appropriate music, that would be icing.

The Princess Bride
I literally love every second of this movie and anything... ANYTHING you do with it would please me greatly. The crackier the better :D

I don't make a habit of commemorating actors' b-days, but on this 34th anniversary of Matthew Staton Bomer's day of birth, I'm compelled to say: WHERE R U HIDING THAT PAINTING? FOR SRS O_o
