Why I’ve Started Live Streaming My Design ProcessHey everyone!If you’ve been following my work here on MakerWorld, you’ve seen the finished models, the print profiles, and the product shots. But lately, I’ve felt that there is a missing link between the final "STL" and the person sitting behind the screen.To bridge that gap, I’ve officially started live streaming my 3D modeling process three days a week over on my YouTube channel: youtube.com/@abstractiadsgn.What to Expect on StreamThe goal of these streams is simple: I want to give you a front-row seat to how my daily designs actually come to life. Whether I’m sketching out a rough idea or fine-tuning the tolerances for a complex assembly, you’re seeing it all in real-time.Lately, I’ve been streaming the entire end-to-end process of my latest entry for the Book Nook Competition. We are almost at the finish line with that project, and it’s been an incredible experience sharing the "trial and error" phase that usually stays hidden in my office. Why Transparency MattersI’m a firm believer that transparency is vital for the growth of our community. 3D modeling can often feel like "magic" to those who haven't tried it, and that can be intimidating. By streaming, I hope to:Demystify the software: See exactly which tools I use and how I solve design hurdles.Help others learn: I want to empower more people to pick up CAD and start contributing their own unique designs to the ecosystem.Build Connection: It’s a chance for you to get to know me, and for me to chat with you while I work.Investing in a Platform That Protects CreatorsOne of the reasons I feel comfortable being this transparent is the environment MakerWorld has built. I want to take a moment to thank MakerWorld for their ongoing efforts to protect our files.
