Letters to Santa!

The kids were excited to write their letters to Santa, and they did it all by themselves (with a little spelling help).

"Dear Santa I have been good. Elsa doll, black blanket, small Doc McStuffins Puzzle, chocolate bells. Sophia"

"Dear Santa I have been good this year so I would like presents. Pokemon Omega Ruby - Mustang 5pack - Creator lego - Batman puzzle - 1 pound gummy bear - Black widow coloring book - Reeses candy cane - clay set. Merry Christmas from Alexander Manitoken."

Let's just say that Santa likes the simple wish lists.

Alexander's Humpty Dumpty

Here's Alexander reciting Humpty Dumpty during his class's Nursery Rhyme Fair!

Spring Fun!

Our rec center does a yearly Science Palooza and of course we had to go. The kids had a fun time learning science by bending air Avatar style, petting skunks and making alka seltzer rockets. At the end of the day, they earned an award!

Alexander's school did a walk-a-thon fundraiser and Xander very proudly called family members and asked them to pledge an amount for each lap he completed. He was able to run/walk 8 laps in his allotted time and actually raised the second highest amount of money! I got to be there and help out and it was so much fun seeing the Kindergartners running their little legs off!

Sophia was a great help too!

When we went to the grocery store the Friday before Easter, they were doing an Easter egg hunt, so what do you do other than put on some bunny ears and walk around the store!

It's been fun being involved in Xander's shchool. During teacher appreciation week here, they decorate all the teacher's doors and I volunteered to decorate the P.E. teachers door. I've never done anything like it before, but luckily there's Google and Pinterest! Proud to say, I made all those balls myself out of paper before we taped them onto the door! Here are my two good helpers with the final result!

Fun Surprise!

I won 4 tickets to Disney on Ice! Colin had to work so Grandma went with us and we had a blast!

Image

Sophia loved it, all of her favorite princesses, at the same time, ice skating(which she'd been doing almost daily after the Olympics).

Grandma did her part to spoil the kids with popcorn and pretzels.

Wedding Cake

Colin's best friend got married a few weeks ago and I had the honor of making their wedding cake. It was a fun cake to make and I enjoyed making the fall colored leaves.

Disneyland Part 1

We had a great time at Disneyland. It was a first time for Sophia and Colin and I think they both loved it.

Image

I was a little worried about how Xander would do with meeting the characters, he's always hid from characters in the past, but he loved it and told us he wanted to meet as many as he could.

Disneyland is tiring, this little girls slept through Pirates of the Caribbean. We did go on it again so she got to experience it, and both kids loved the ride.

She got called Princess Sophia all day at the park!

My handsome boy!

Disneyland has so many great shows, the first night we all stayed late for the Fantasmic!

Sophia luckily fell asleep before the fire breathing dragon.
