I feel like such an bad bad fan. I didn't have a big sign, I wasn't in costume, and I didn't quite scream myself hoarse. Still, it was incredibly fun! My fandoms aren't usually conducive to this sort of thing so it was very cool to watch Darren Criss live.
There were two shows, at Greenbelt and at Trinoma. They announced the shows and the mechanics very late. I was only able to get an entry pass to the show at Trinoma. For the Greenbelt show I had to stand and watch from a distance. Two hours before the Greenbelt show the crowd around the barriers were around three people deep and the balconies were lined with watchers. Five hours before the Trinoma show I was lined up and there were dozens of people in front of me. Some had been there since the mall opened.
( a few pictures )
The video I took at the Greenbelt show wasn't very good since it was from a distance. The songs he sang were a bit different in each show. The Trinoma show was better organized and the place was nicer since it was indoors and there were no trees in the way. For the Trinoma show I was able to video almost everything.
In the Philippines, concerts aren't so much performances as they are sing-alongs. The start is pretty shaky because the people around me were jumping up and down.
( it's so cool, and it's totally awesome! )
