Brynlee's 1st Birthday

 Our sweet Brynlee turned one on August 30th.  She had two parties, one with each side of the family and definitely spoiled at both.

Brynlee at age one:

• Said mom and dad, and uh-oh
• Soon after started saying cracker
• Walked a few weeks after her first birthday
• She went straight to walking and never crawled, she is a stubborn little thing, but has loved her new found freedom with walking.
• She definitely lets you know when you are bugging her or she doesn't want something
• She's a very picky eater, loves graham crackers, Pizza and anything bread 
• 10th percentile in height, 35th percentile in weight, and 85th percentile in head circumference.

We have been so blessed to have a healthy baby.  Our lives wouldn't be the same without Brynlee, she has been such a blessing to us and we love her so much!

Memorial Day Weekend was great!  We spent time with both families, honored two of our most favorite people by visiting their grave sites...Mom and Grandma Morgan. We love and miss both of them, but enjoyed spending a little extra time remembering them!

10K

 I am not a runner, but I forced myself to do a 10K...it was miserable, but I did it.  My cute nieces and sisters made me a poster when I passed the finish line, and my husband and  sister-in-law came to cheer me on as well.  I was one happy woman to see them, mostly because it meant I was done running!

 I was proud of myself until I watched my little brother and brother-in-law finish the full marathon in great time!  Good job you guys!

Distinguished Young Women

Whitney did Distinguised Young Women (aka Jr. Miss) this year, and the program was on Saturday.  She put a lot of work into the program and getting her piano piece ready for her talent.  She did such a great job and sparkled on stage.  She won a fitness, interview, and poise award and got 1st runner up.  She looked beautiful that night!  We love you Whit!

Our little Getaway!

Marc had to go to Mesquite, NV for an Idaho Grower Shipper Golf tournament.  So Brynlee and I decided to go along and make a trip out of it.  We stayed in the hotel on Thursday, then went to St. George on Friday and met up with the Daws and went shopping and swimming.  Saturday we watched McKinley's dance competition.  She did amazing!  The weather was horrible on Saturday, which was a total bummer, but it was still fun to get away and spend some time together.

Easter

We got together with my family for Easter.  It was filled with a lot of food, visiting, kite flying, and an easter egg hunt!  I didn't get any pictures of Brynlee in her Easter dress, not sure what I was thinking. 

McKinley was sure to make Uncle Marc proud by wearing her Tarheels shirt!

6 months

Holy cow time flies, can't believe our little Brynlee is 6 months.  She just keeps getting more and more fun each day.  We can't imagine loving her more, she is the perfect addition to our little family!
