About our Program
We provide our Deep Sea Education Program both remotely and in person, for grades 6-12. Our customizable STEM presentations offer up to 110 minutes of science lectures, guest speakers, and interactive lab activities to teach students about engineering, ocean conservation, and deep-sea ecology. Our hands-on, interactive learning lab activities also allow students to gain experience in critical thinking, data collection, data interpretation, and the engineering design process.
Our programming is free to San Francisco Bay Area public schools. We work closely with participating teachers to ensure alignment with their existing lesson plans and learning objectives, as well as ensure our presentations and activities can be customized to meet the needs of the schools we serve.
