What an amazing night! I have been planning this night for over a month now and it turned out just as I had hoped! I surprised Mark with dinner at Chili's, Christmas shopping (he was a good sport), and tickets to Pickleville Playhouse's show Santa's Elves. It was so much fun and such a wonderful evening together. We loved the show and can't wait to take Beck next year.
I love spending time with that man of mine... we have so much fun together and he truly is amazing to me in every way! After the show we went and got an Italian Gelata at Zeppe's and oh my goodness! It was the yummiest thing ever! We definitely have a new favorite place to go for a treat... highly recommend it!
Also, my sister got engaged tonight! Cute little Camree (not so little anymore) will be getting married to Josh Hansen on March 11, 2011! So happy for her!

It's Beginning to....
Look a lot like Christmas at our house. Okay, if I am being totally honest, we have had our decorations up for a few weeks now. We LOVE this time of year and just can't help ourselves! Beck is loving this new adventure! He can't get enough of the lights, the tree, the ornaments, the sweets, and all of the excitement that fills the air. We are so excited for a fun filled holiday season. Merry Christmas!

As of Late...

Oh... How I love life! I feel blessed beyond belief! I love this time of year - it is a time of thanksgiving and anticipation of the Christmas season. I am so grateful for my sweetheart! I am amazed each day by his patience, perseverance, and unconditional love for me and Beck. I love that man more than words can say! I am grateful for all of the dating, heart ache, frustration, and years of single life that led me to him. He truly is my knight in shining armor, my sweetheart, and my very best friend. I love the nights we stay up late to watch a Christmas movie, play Super Mario Brothers, or just sit by each other while we work on homework or projects. It is crazy how just being with him brings me so much joy! I am grateful for the Priesthood that he holds and for the wonderful Spirit we have in our home because of it. I can't think of any place I'd rather be than right here with him and Beck. I rush home each day to spend time with my two boys... and I long for the weekend when we get to be together. I am definitely the LUCKIEST and feel so thankful for my sweetie.
I never knew that motherhood would bring me so much joy and happiness. I always dreamed of the day when I would get to bring a child into this world, but nothing can prepare you for that tremendous moment. I love my little Beckam SO MUCH! I am so thankful for his spunk, excitement for life, never ending amount of energy, his snuggles and kisses, and for the way he makes me feel. I am honored that the Lord would entrust me with this sweet angel boy... the past 22 months have been amazing! I am so thankful for this gift called motherhood. Beckam has definitely been reaching lots of milestones lately:
he is still teething - poor kid. says words like ma. ball. jump. hello. daddy. wassat (what's that). points with his finger in excitement (see picture above :). runs everywhere. loves being outside. snuggles on the couch. loves the movie UP, Cars, Toy Story 3, and Incredibles. climbs onto everything - counter, table, washer, dryer, mom and dad's bed. loves the park. loves to play with friends. loves going to nursery. love his DADDY. loves coming to school with mom. loves visiting his grandmas and grandpas. USU Aggie fan. is very tall for his age. wants to help mom do whatever she is doing. loves to roll around in the laundry or blankets. dumps out everything he can possibly find. doesn't want to be separated from mom and dad. stubborn. happy. mischievous. helpful. sweet. undecorates the Christmas tree. loves goldfish. mashed potatoes. chocolate milk. apple juice. fruit snacks. any kind of fruit. pb & j. candy. chocolate. pancakes. mac and cheese. pizza.
It warms my heart to see Beck play with other kids... he loves his friend Koy and they have so much fun together. Just the other day Koy was at our house and they were wrestling with each other, running in and out of the tent chasing each other, and being so cute together. I just love every stage Beck goes through, they all have their ups and downs, but it is so much fun! I can't believe he will be 2 soon!
We are so excited for this Christmas season and can't wait to enjoy every moment with Beckam. It truly is so fun and exhilarating to have the "magic" of Christmas back in our lives again. We are so excited to share in this meaningful time of year with our little rascal.

Our Little Tiger
Holidays are so much fun with this little munchkin! We had such a fun Halloween with him. It started on Friday with his grand appearance to my classroom (my students loved his costume :), followed by a fun filled night at the park with his pal Koy. Saturday we took a trip to the grocery store for some trick or treating, visited my cute parents, and had a fun sleepover to top it all off! What a fun weekend... we just LOVE our little tiger!

He is full of attitude these days! Never a dull moment :)

Beckam kisses! My favorite thing in the whole world!
I LOVE these two boys. They make me the happiest girl in the world. I am the LUCKIEST!

Sweetest!
Mark is amazing to me! I know I say this often, but he really is! Our situation is not the "ideal" one, but I am so grateful for Mark's positive perspective. He continues to endure every class, every paper, every lame test, and always keeps a smile through this second degree. Not only that, but he also takes care of Beck everyday and is the sweetest dad!
Today he surprised me and stopped by school with Beck. It is so fun to see my boys and share them with my students for a minute. Today was especially sweet, because when I went to the door to let Mark in, he was standing with his hand behind his back. I asked him what he was holding and he handed me a dozen beautiful roses! He said they were from he and Beck and it truly melted my heart! I love that man! I am so amazed by his kindness and love... I often wonder how I got so lucky to be his sweetheart. What a wonderful way to start our Fall Break! Can't wait to spend the rest of the week with my boys... YAY for days off!

Little Bubs
It has been awhile since I have posted about this sweet little angel! He turned 18 months on August 26th and I can't believe how time flies! I just love him more than words can say. He is so much fun and so full of life, laughter, independence, love, attitude, excitement, and happiness. We are so lucky to be his parents. He his in the 50% for his weight, 80% for his height, and his head is in it's own category :)
His first taste of Jamba Juice... YUMM!
He couldn't resist the swimming pool so we stripped him down to his diaper and he was in heaven.
A beautiful day at Bear Lake - We LOVE that place

Amazing Race - Taylor Style
Oh how I love the Taylor family! Every summer we get to spend a few days together at our family reunion and it is always so fun! This year Mark's brother Matt and his wife Kristen were in charge of the planning and they did GREAT! They mapped out an Amazing Race for us to participate in and we immediately got very excited. We LOVE the Amazing Race and can't wait for it to start tomorrow!
We raced with Mark's parents and had a blast. We made our way through Lava Hot Springs, Grace, and Soda Springs, Idaho. It was so fun to go to different historical sites and learn more about this historic area. What a great idea Matt and Kristen. Thanks for such a great adventure. We are proud to say that we came in first and successfully competed our Amazing Race.
