Kate Turns 5!
We celebrated Kate's birthday the other day. She has been looking forward to her birthday for weeks. Unfortunately a couple days before she started to get sick and have a fever. We found out a couple days after her birthday that she had scarlet fever and an ear infection. That poor girl was really sick. She did manage to get off the couch for a little bit of cake though. Sure do love this girl. Can't believe she is already five!

Getting Ready for Christmas
We've been trying to get in the Christmas spirit. It's been kind of hard seeing it's been in the 70's around here. We went to the town's Christmas Parade. It was our first venture out as a whole family.

This was their favorite part. You can't really see but that's Buddy the Elf in the front. They drive this car around town all season long looking just like this!
My girls love a good parade and would not think of leaving until we saw Santa.
On Friday night Scott took the older girls to the local live, walk through Nativity. It is an amazing spirit and the girls always look forward to it. It was at night and the last time we went it was freezing so I bundled the girls up and we decided I better stay home with Norah. It ended up being pretty warm but better safe than sorry I guess. I was sad to miss it.
