My Crazy Kids

I just had to put these videos on. Jackson has been walking for a while now so I finally decided to get it on video. It didn't turn out too great because he kept coming after the camera. Here is my little guy growing too fast, he turned 10 months on the 28th of April.

Emily was singing the same line over and over for probably at least a half hour. I finally decided to get it on video. I love that once she realized I was videotaping her she pretended not to see me and kept on singing. She is doing her puzzle at the same time.

4 Years Old!!!

Our little Aubrey had her Birthday a little over a week ago on the 17th of April. She decided to have a purple party since purple is her favorite color. Everyone wore purple and practically everything for the party was purple. She even got a Barbie dressed in purple.
Image She was so excited to get her own fishing pole. It will be fun to go out fishing this summer.
Image Her Grandma got her a camping chair which works great for Emily's soccer games.

Here is her purple Birthday cake. The hearts are warmed up Starbursts rolled out.
ImageIt only took her about 5 times to blow any candles out.

ImageThe umbrella was a favorite of the partiers. I didn't realize how much little girls love umbrellas.

ImageAubrey is getting so old. She will start preschool next year. She loves to play video games ( I know not your average 4 year old girl). She just got an eyepatch last week to make her right eye stronger and the doctor prescibed an hour of video games a day. She is loving the excuse. Her favorite thing in the world to do is tease Emily, needless to say it isn't my favorite thing in the world. She is a loving little girl and we are all so blessed to have her in our lives.

Dancing, Biking, Growing, and Remodeling

Here is a quick update on what we have been up to the last couple of months. Aubrey had a dance show on the 19th and 20th of march. She had 3 shows and did such a good job of sitting on stage and not dancing. It was fun to watch though and it was definitely our Aubrey's way of doing things. At least I got some cute pictures of her.

Emily learned how to ride her bike without training wheels a couple weeks ago. Her training wheel was broken so she didn't have much of a choice. She pretty much learned by herself while we were working on our house. She is loving riding around the block, I can't believe how grown up she is getting.

Jackson has changed a lot since my last post. He started crawling aroung 7 1/2 months. He is all over the place, and into everything. He claps his hands all the time and waves hi. Not long after he started crawling he started puling himself up and walking around the furniture. Now he stands by himself and he has taken a couple steps a few times by himself. He just turned 9 months on the 28th of March. He is such a happy boy and gives all of us endless entertainment. Here are a couple of pictures of him at around 8 months.

We just finished redoing some stuff in our house. First we tiled our entry way, then we replaced our baseboards and trim around our doors. This is a couple of pictures of that.

Image Then we replaced our green carpet. I am so happy it is gone. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay! Here is a before and after picture.

A lot has been going on, next time I won't wait so long to post.

The best and saddest day

Last thursday Jackson turned 7 months old. I can't believe how fast he is growing. It was the best day because I decided I was going to be done nursing. I finally have some freedom back, but I was sad to be done and not have that connection with my baby anymore. I miss it a little, but I am glad I am done. He started holding his own bottle a few weeks ago, it is so nice not to have to do it for him.

Image He is really getting everywhere now. He loves to be on the ground to play with whatever he can find, and I mean whatever he can find. If it's not a toy he will find it. He is such a happy little boy.
Image He is almost crawling. He army crawls all over, but sometimes he gets up on his knees and tries to figure out how to crawl. I am sure he will be going any day now, I don't think I am ready for it.

Christmas and New Year

Christmas Eve we opened our jammies and Jackson opened his stocking. Then we read our Christmas book that we get from Mike's mom, this year it was A Christmas Dress For Ellen. It was a good story to remind us of all of our bessings. Then we read about the Savior's birth. Here we are in our jammies.

Image My Dad and brothers came up the week of Christmas. It was so nice to hang out and play games and just spend time together. I love this picture of all of them together.

Here are some pictures from Christmas morning.

The monday after Christmas we went to Minersville to spend some time with Mike's family. Everyone was nice enough to come to minersville to see us and have a dinner together.
Jackson turned 6 months old on that Monday too. So I took a bunch of pictures of him. At his 6 month checkup he weighed 15 lbs. 11 oz. and was 25 1/2 inches he was in the 10th to 20th percentile, so he isn't that big. He is moving all over the place now, he figures out a way to get where he wants to go. He got his 2 bottom teeth a couple days before Christmas. He is such a good boy, he loves to just play on the ground going after toys or whatever else he can get. He says dadadada all the time. He is just a joy to have around, the girls love playing with him and keeping him happy, which makes it easier for me to get stuff done. He is growing way too fast!

Image We went to Bridget's house for New Year's Eve. It was nice to see her new house all done up and spend time with her. The girls love seeing their aunt Bridget. She made dinner and had the gilrs help her. She got a taste of what its like to have "help" in the kitchen from kids. Thanks for letting us come Bridget.

I hope everyone has a great year this year, I don't really have any resolutions, but I hope I can better myself especially spiritually. I also want to remember to enjoy all the moments with my family that go by so quickly. Happy New Year a little late everyone!

Better late then never...

Yes I am way behind on posting about Thanksgiving, between being sick for 2 weeks and getting ready for Christmas time has flown by. Anyway, we went to Minersville for Thanksgiving. As always the girls had a great time with cousins. They don't get to see them enough.

Image The girls got to make fun ornaments, Grandma always has fun crafts to keep all the kids busy. But they still run wild most of the time. Thanks for dealing with the craziness Mary faye.

Image Here is a picture of all the grandkids. Its impossible to get them all to look at the camera.
Image
Mike's sister Holly had a baby girl Kayla Mae a couple weeks before Thanksgiving , isnt she cute?
Image Jackson turned 5 months the day after Thanksgiving (only 2 1/2 weeks ago but whatever). He has gotten so old. He is all over the place he never stops moving. He loves being on his belly, if you lay him down he always goes right to his stomach.
Image
Emily loves her little brother, she is always trying to get him to laugh.
Image
My little cutie pie! Everyone told me my little boy would have a special place in my heart and they were right. I can't get enough of him.
Image
We got to do gingerbread houses with Grandma. This is a fun tradition that we don't always get to do since we don't live close by. But we love it when we get to.
Image We had a great Thanksgiving weekend, we always love going to Minersville and wish we could go more often.
