Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

There is so much for our family to be thankful for this year!  Mary Farris had a fantastic Christmas with family, and was spoiled rotten.  We are looking forward to what the new year has in store for us~

Mommy, RN

Thank you to my inspirational miracle child, family and friends, and the awesome group of students and teachers at CSCC.  I have finished nursing school and hope to be a part of a NICU team like the one that has encouraged and supported me over the last few years!

Happy Halloween!!

In typical fashion, Halloween was a family affair, and in typical fashion, the skinny kid gets lots of candy.  I think we can make this loot last until next year!

After having our story shared online, the advertising group from the hospital came out and did a photo shoot.  Mary Farris was featured in a commercial, on a billboard, and got a full page in the Tennessean!  What an honor to be featured again for the Nothing Shall be Impossible campaign.  We are forever grateful for everything that St. Thomas Midtown did for our little girl, and our family~

NICU Reunion 2014

One of our favorite events of the year is the NICU reunion.  We get to see all of the awesome nurses, doctors and respiratory therapists who took such good care of our little girl.  Of course, we enjoy seeing all the miracle babies growing up!  Mary Farris said it is exciting :)

Our Story~

Mary Farris had the honor of being chosen for the St Thomas Hospital "Nothing Shall Be Impossible" Campaign.  They did an amazing job of sharing our journey to help raise awareness for prematurity.  You can see the story here:
