Nigel got liver cancer. We had to put him down on Saturday.

Tonight, I had drinks with Chris and Ally. Was glad that they were able to meet.

Okay... it actually snowed in Portland... in November! not much... but it did.

I've been trying to play with my camera more lately.

The past few weeks have been kind of a cloud. Busy... and busy... and such.

Allison has been in her place for two weeks now. I've been over several times and we are keeping our commitment to makign sure there is enough personal space and time. It's kind of weird going through this transition. I miss the pets and the house gets lonely... and I haven't had the energy to get it ready to rent space out. I woke up early this morning with the intention of going hiking and ended up cleaning 90% of the upstairs floor out... so that feels like a nice accomplishment. Perhaps I can get it ready by next weekend?

I purchased a new camera this week, which I am quite enjoying.

Went up to Eagle Creek today with Gary...



I forgot my cable at work to transfer my images... Gary posted a few already though. I'll post mine in the next few days. Was a good and relaxing hike. Not as difficult as Dog Mountain... but about another .6 miles each direction. Think todays hike was just over 9 miles total.

Tomorrow is mystery hike day.... why? because gary hasn't figured out where we are going yet. I asked for an easier hike than last weekend... as I don't want to get too sore again as I'm likely going out tomorrow night.

Hooray for hiking!
