Winter

Just when I thought it was Spring...this was my drive home the other day! Crazy Idaho!!

The snow does make our brown yard look beautiful!

We went to Warm River and played. Of course Max had to get some fishing in.

At Bear Gulch we had some fun in the snow! Indee was out of control sledding off of dead trees and hills. We had to block her from flying down into the canyon!

I an so proud to be these two little ladies mom. They bring so much joy to my life. Indee is working so hard in 2nd grade. It has been hard to not have her at school with me but one of the best things we have done for her. She is a great big sister. Camas is our wild women! You never know what to expect out of her. She keeps everyone on their toes and always makes us smile. If I could freeze time right now I could. I love how the girls play together. They are a creative and fun team!
They do have moments like any sisters do but for the most part are wonderful! Life is crazy and good!!

1st tooth

Indee finally lost her first tooth! She has been so excited and nervous about it. We went to Island Park for Memorial weekend so of course it came out. She had walked down to the deck with a piece of watermelon. Camas and I were getting our watermelon and heading down when Indee busted through the door with tears in her eyes and a mouth full of watermelon. She was crunching her tooth in her watermelon and luckily realized it was her tooth before swallowing. She was crying and Camas put her arms around her and said "I am so proud of you" what a sweet sister!! Love these girls so much!!

Indee turns 7

Indee had a great birthday. We went to pizza pie cafe for dinner. Her favorite presents: cowgirl boots from aunt Bonnie, Legos from mom and dad, kindle from Oma. She got tons of fun toys to play with. She is one lucky girl! We are so lucky to have her!

Christmas Eve we spent at my moms. It was great soup and lots of fun times. I love my family!

Our Christmas Tree! My parents are the greatest and brought these beauti home for us when they went and got trees. It smelled amazing!

Indee's Story

Indee was born @ 10:31 pm on April 23. She had sucked in muchonium, so that doctor sucked that out but then she stopped making noise. The nurses took her to the side and started working on her, soon she was ran down the hall to the NICU. We found out that she was stable and went to see her. The nurses decided she was doing good and gave her a bath. This made her body crash. At 3:30 am we were told that she was very sick and would be flying to Primary Children’s in Salt Lake. At 6:30 am she was on a venerator and on her way with her Daddy by her side; having one blood transfusion on the plane and other when they arrived at the hospital. I checked out at 8:30 and my mom drove me to Salt Lake. We found out that Indee had ammonia, pulmonary hypertension, low blood pressure and was on a ventilator. She was on a lot of extreme medicine. She was an extreme fighter. After they let her come out of her comatose state, we had to pin her arm to the blankets because she would take her pick line arm that had a board attached to it, and bang it on her venerator. After many days of tests we found out this was all caused because Indee and I had grown a vein between us but I was stealing blood and not replacing. The doctors have no idea how much blood was in her system but they can not explain how her kidneys, lungs and brain developed with what she had. She is truly our little miracle. After two weeks in the NICU with amazing doctors and nurses we came home. With oxygen but still home. After 3 months we sent the oxygen away. She is now an amazing 4 year old! We couldn’t ask for more!! We love you Indee!!

Camas's Story

November 16, 2010 I went to the hospital at 8PM to get started. I was already having contractions 5 minutes apart but they were not intense. Took some drugs and tried to sleep through the night. At 7AM on November 17 the doc broke my water. We found out there was mucunium again! (totally freaked me out) My contractions started to get pretty intense so epidural to the recscue. At 11AM I started pushing but not much was happening. I kept falling asleep inbetween pushes so we waited for the doc to arrive. After about an 1 1/2 hours of pushing on and off we were getting closer. Camas did not want to come so they tried to vaccuum. They realized she was posterier (face up) so a different vaccuum came out. Twice they tried and I tried with no luck. Her heart rate was dropping rapidly and they told me we had to get her out. The doc was ready with the forcepts and we tried on more time; stopped her and sucked out has much mucunium as possible. She was then taken to the side where respitory was waiting incase, the charge nurse, our nurse and another lady. It was a full house. She arrived at 12:31 PM on November 17. After a few minutes of suction we had a screaming baby in our hands. After all of the stress and worrying she is very healthy and happy newborn!
