Who are you?
I'm a computer geek living on the West Coast. I grew up in Chicago surrounded by Chicago politics. I consider myself a member of the Democratic Wing of the Democratic Party. I'm a member of the ACLU and the NRA (not to mention USENIX, IEEE and ACM).
Why do you post about politics all the time?
Because I keep up this LJ specifically to continue to discuss politics. In the past, this LJ was a way for me to connect with other people and keep up with their social lives. Now all those people have moved on to FaceBook and Google+. That, and the fact that most of my family is on FaceBook (all of whom I could never get to join LiveJournal), has led me to move my usual social media activities there.
