Once upon a time 20 years ago!

ImageIn June 1990. Mark and I attended our Stake Youth Conference at BYU. This is where we met. All of our friends already knew each other and it was really a surprise that we had never met before - my best friend had gone on dates with him! Well, 20 years later, here we are! 16 years married, 3 delightful and beautiful daughters, 2 less than delightful cats, new hair styles LOL!, and I love him more than ever! He still makes me laugh all the time, and he still does his best to annoy me with grabbing my toes and even nicknaming one of my children "poopy pants" or "poops" for short! We spend a day in Montreal, Canada to celebrate the occasion. I loved it! They speak French, Oh la la loved it! Of course, once we open our mouths, they switch right to English but that "Bonjour" is beautiful! We went to "Mount Royal" to enjoy a great view of the city, took a drive through a posh neighborhood of old stone houses, had the best croissant of my life - we do need to still find a pastry shop for the next visit! Went to the Montreal Temple, enjoyed the museum of fine arts, and took a quick driving tour of "Old Montreal". There is so much to do, we didn't even get started. We must go back! And yes, it will be before the next twenty years are over! Just looking at our picture makes me laugh - 20 years ago people asked us if we were brother and sister - maybe it's true that married people start to look alike!

Greatest thing made by duct-tape (in my opinion:))

ImageThis old, but you people might like this:)Back when I had hamsters, I, along with some friends, made a hamster mansion out of boxes and duct tape. It consisted of a wire-climbing wall, a slide, hamster huts, a loft, and a hamster ball garage.

Caught on camera. "Mwahahahaha, they'll never notice... rats, they have cameras."

Brown Syndrom

Image
Lydia went too the eye doctor today.

We thought she had lazy eye.

We were wrong.

She has Brown Syndrome.

One of her eyes in unable too look up.

The eye tissue is scarred over.

It is a very rare thing.

If you google it, you probably wouldn't find anything about it.

It doesn't affect her vision...yet,

It could someday.

She may see double.

We have too watch her.

We need to see if she squints one eye.

We need to know if she tilts her head.

We need to be observant.

It is no big deal.

She will act normal as ever.

It's fun too blog and this is something to blog about so, I did.

Lydia really dose have Brown Syndrome though.

(Megan did this post in February - finally posting it tonight - Jennie)
