Ronan at 6 months

Ronan is happily crawling now. He does an army crawl similar to what his brother did. 

He has also started eating solids. My baby is growing up!

Ronan now weighs 14 lbs 6.5 oz and is 26 inches long.

Getting caught up

I have fallen behind on my monthly Ronan updates. So here is a review.

During this time Ronan has perfected his rolling skills. He has been able get just about anywhere he wants this way. 

Also, Levi has been taking swimming lessons, and aside from getting cold, he loves it.

Ronan at 3 months

Today has been full of excitement. To celebrate turning 3 months old today, Ronan decided to roll onto his belly for the first time! He spent a good amount of time rolling onto his side yesterday to prepare for today's achievement. 

Last week we released a lot of ladybugs in our garden to help with our aphid problem. 

Yesterday we found some eggs on the plants we were ripping out.

Then today some of them hatched! Levi loved getting to watch them.

4 theme parks in 5 days... with a 2 month old

Yes, we took our infant to 4 theme parks in 5 days... along with our 6 year old of course. Ronan turned 2 months old the day before visiting our first theme park. Here is his 2 month photo. He is 23.5 in long and weights 10 lbs 11 oz.

We found out a little less than a week before Matt's mother and sister visited, that they purchased tickets for everyone to visit Disneyland, California Adventure, SeaWorld, and Legoland during their visit. Here are a few highlights from the experience.

On Monday we went to California Adventure. We were very impressed with Levi's drawing of Piglet from the animation class.

On Tuesday we went to Disneyland. Here he is being trained as a Jedi Master.

As we were waiting for the evening parade, we were asked by one of the staff if we would like to have a better view of the parade. We were given a secret password and directed to the priority seating.

On Wednesday we took a break from the parks for Ronan to have his 2 month check up and shots. Then on to SeaWorld on Thursday. While the shows were good, there was no shade, so we were baking in the heat.

On Friday we went to Legoland. It was amazing to see everything built out of Legos.

Every night that week we only had 4-6 hours of sleep. Needless to say we are still recuperating from it all. Definitely a memorable week.

A quick (and long overdue) update

Needless to say, this past year has been very busy. I will do my best to summarize what has happened. Shortly after moving, our nephew, Tom, stayed with us for the summer.

Most of my time this past year was filled with homeschooling Levi and finishing my own classes online. I finished my last class two weeks before giving birth to our second son, Ronan. Did I mention I was pregnant? Yeah, that happened! To see his birth story check out the page to the left titled "They grew" (it is after Levi's birth story).
