About the challenge

The MediHacks hackathon is an event we plan to run to help the medical community. The hackathon centers around the idea of creating a website, web app, mobile, or other product that is related to the healthcare/medicine.

The challenge is going to be a 3-day event all three days will be held online .

This event is open to all 13+ with a focus on students.

Team member limit: 4

You may choose your own team.

Your project must start after the event begins as listed on the DevPost schedule. If you submit a project made prior to the event, your team will be disqualified.

Must use version control on GitHub to show progress and prevent cheating.

We may conduct workshops and game nights.

Requirements

What to Build

A web app, website, mobile application, or other product that applies to health, including but not limited to mental health, healthcare infrastructure, medical data analysis, etc.

What to Submit

Submit a GitHub repository with consistent updates on your project.

Submit a video demonstration of your project (3-4 minutes)

Info to include in the video:

What the project does
How the project solves a real-world problem
What tools, frameworks, APIs, and languages you used to build your project
What do you plan to do in the future with your product

To be eligible for prizes your product must have a video demonstration sent to the judges. Finalists may be required to submit a working demo or present their product live, without any changes made after the deadline.
