Three!

Our spunky little Amelia turned three in July. She is seriously one of the funnest little girls to be around. I love having her a part of our family. We went swimming at the neighborhood pool and came home for ice cream sundaes and chocolate cake. Amelia is definitely my child and loves everything chocolate. We love her so much!

Happiest place on Earth!

In May we were able to take the kids to Disneyland. Not only was it their first time, but Harris' as well! I have been telling him for years how amazing it is and he never believed me...until now! We had such an amazing time! I don't think there was one second during the days that the kids weren't grinning from ear to ear! Bonus, Whitney even got to come with us! She even got to be in on my little secret that I was pregnant. It's hard to hide when she knows how much I love riding rides but didn't want to go on them! In the end I couldn't resist and ended up riding all but screaming California. I am hoping Marlee will be my ride buddy in the future because of it. It was all such a great time that on a daily basis Amelia asks to go back.

October Halloween Partying!

Another growing tradition of ours is to go with a few friends to the Pumpkin Patch.  The kids love to ride on the tractor and choose from the never ending assortment of pumpkins.  We got mean and made them pick smaller ones cuz we had already gotten a few (much cheaper ones) before.

Now I am going to be prideful here. Carson told me he wanted to be yoda for halloween. I have issues with buying the full blown costumes because they are too unoriginal for me. But the bad thing about that is that I am no seamstress. So Carson and I spent all day at thrift stores and dollar stores. I found amazing gloves that I sewed onto his feet and he wore on his hands. They were perfect except they had five fingers and apparently yoda has four. I found this robe which was huge. I hemmed it as well as a non-seamstress would hem. And I totally sewed the ears myself and sewed them onto a green beanie. I would call this costume genius. I also think he is the cutest yoda I've seen. I also made a lot of Amelia's too. She is even cuter than the real strawberry shortcake!

I love groupon. They had an amazing deal that Harris and I signed up for the farmstead race for super cheap and Carson did the fun run for even cheaper! Then it came with an all day pass to all of the fun things at the farmstead. So we got to do all of these awesome things and had a blast!

This picture might make you think "oh how cute" of Amelia, but your wrong. It tools us forever to get through this mazes cuz she wanted to pull this wagon all by herself the whole time.

These horses were huge and Amelia was in love. I have to admit so was I. Those things are so cool.

You also might wonder if adults are allowed on cow trains. This adult is.

And this last pic is our pre trick or treating dinner fest. If you are going to go out and get loads of candy you better prepare with Loads of pop and orange jello! We had such a good time trick or treating in our new neighborhood.

September Fun

 It has kinda become tradition to go to visit my sister and her fam on Labor Day Weekend and go to the Blackfoot fair.  It is fun to see the animals and strange people and eat the yummy food!

 Amelia LOVES ponies.  If I were rich I would have her do rodeos.

Carson truly believes this is Bumblebee.  He was super stoked to get to sit inside!  I'm not gonna lie, that is an amazing car.  I would look good in that.

This was my favorite part of the night.  Carson was brave enough to ride this ride and a I was so excited to finally have a partner to ride with!  He laughed and yelled the whole time and so did I.  We had a blast.  Way better than the little lamo kid roller coasters.

 We had  a blast at the fair and spending time with Misty and her family.  It is a good tradition to keep going.

We thoroughly enjoyed the later warm weather we had this year.  Amelia really wanted to try to ride a bigger bike so here she is all geared up to ride.  The brakes are backwards pedaling and she couldn't really get the hang of it.

The best/weirdest/saddest part of September was sending my little boy off to Kindergarten.  I just get teary eyed every time I realize how fast they grow and how I feel like he was just a little baby.  In the blink of an eye he'll be going on a mission.  Yikes!  This is him and cheeseball on the cute little mini bench at the school.

When it was warm we got to ride bike to school and so here we are on the first day getting ready to ride to school.

 He's super soaked.  No tears had come at this point.  (That was later)

 And here is his first lost tooth!  That was so exciting!!!  Like I said...he is just getting so big!!!!

We moved!

.... a long time ago!  Ok, not that long ago, but it seems like forever!  It's been a crazy year full of changes in our family, but we have been able to experience many blessings in the meantime.  In March, we made the decision to list our house on the market.  Even though there were many doubts from many people that there was a chance that we would ever be able to sell out home in this market, our family felt very strongly that it was time for us to take this step.  So we sold our home and with just a few bumps and rocks along the way we our in our new home!  We feel very grateful and blessed to be where we are.  We love our new home and neighbors and looking back at the entire process we know this is where we are meant to be.  So, I am totally bummed that I didn't get any final pics in our old home or even any of us when we moved into our new house, but here is one of us just chilling in our house with nothing but boxes.  Very exciting ;)

The day after we moved in we celebrated Harris and my 8th anniversary.  I can't believe it has been that long.  It is crazy how fast the time goes by, I wish it would just slow down a little!  We went and got pedicures together.  Harris had never had one before and I am never going to turn down the opportunity!  It was very fun and very relaxing!  What better anniversary present could I have asked for than being in our new home!  What a blessing my family is and I am very lucky to have a husband who works hard for us and sacrifices so much for us.  We didn't take pics on either but this might be our first ever pic taken of just us together since we have been married (at least professionally done).

Then, just a few days after that we celebrated Harris' birthday!  I love this pic of him and Carson!  It was pretty low key since life had been a little busy but I know that's what he prefers so I think he enjoyed it!  He turned 31 this year!

She's 2!

I can't believe this little girly girl has turned 2 already.  We had a fun little celebration for her...pretty low key compared to the norm.  We just had cake and ice cream and a few other family members join us.  We were living at Harris' parents at the time so we got to have Darren there too!  Misty, Callie and the kids got to come too so we had a great time!  

 Amelia started crying because she burnt her little finger when she was blowing out the candles :(

 She got a new baby, blanket and cradle to take care of!  

At 2 years old, Amelia is sassy as ever.  She may appear to be quiet and sweet (which she can be) but there is definitely a whole other side to her!  She loves to be girly, which I love that she loves, and plays kitchen, babies, steals my high heels and walks all over the house in them.  She talks a lot, but mainly in chinese.  Most of what she says I understand or put together the pieces of it but mostly because I'm her mom, but anyone can understand "I want a cookie" or "no way" ;)  Her favorite foods are pizza, chicken nuggets, and chocolate.  She also loves making up songs and copying everything her older brother does.  She is a sweetie and we love her.  Hope she had a fun birthday even if she probably won't remember it!
