Kate's blessing weekend

It was Labor day weekend and we had a crew come to visit! So much family , so much fun!

Football game, pizza out, cousin time, dates for the older crowd, finding a snake!, legos, basketball, tether ball, church, food, goodies, hugs, kisses, Aunts, Uncles, Grandma, Grandpa, movies, late night snacks, lots of late night snacks, pictures, melt downs, and it was all wonderful, everyone got to hold baby Kate. We had so much fun.

School started last week for all the kids but Colton today was his first day of a Pre-kinder class he was running all over the backyard when we got there he loved the bunnies, one is named poopies. That made him laugh. He was so ready to go now he is there for 3 hours! Wow he may be tired when he gets home, good luck Mrs. Perona....he's a firecracker.

6 weeks and she smiled

Check out this cutie! She smiled  and we got a picture of it. After church on Sunday we got this super cute picture of Kate. Last week was her debut but we didn't get a picture next week we have to put her in the red pok-a-dots again and get a picture it's to die for the dress even has ruffles on the bloomers. This little lady is the boss around here and has broken out in baby acne, such a bummer.  More pictures to come when all this stuff clears up.

8lbs. 2oz.

Kate joined the family on the 2nd of July and she never gets put down. Everyone always wants to hold her, change her, and love her. She is one lucky little lady! She got the star treatment when we got home a sign on the garage, and fireworks for the 4th of July!

Summer fun

We have had a lot of summer fun! It begins with Carissa's turning 17, she had a day of shopping yummy food and cupcakes in Walnut Creek with Maddie.

Emma got to go meet Peyton's horse and feed the new baby colt. 

We have had a few late night swim meets and you can always find Thayne right next to the pool watching everyone swim and keeping score. Here is Colton keeping up with his big brother.

After the baby Kate came home Dad took the kids out to dinner to the Olive Garden, we were supposed to go before she came but plans changed! Colton and the baby stayed home with me and watch movies . We have been doing a little too much of that lately.

Grandma got to come see the new baby and watch the kids swim in a meet.

The girls got to go to EFY!  The Larsons helped us out and transported them from airport to EFY. The best part the girls were at the U of U! they loved it! I see some sister bonding happening. I think they took more pictures together than apart and Addie came home boy crazy, Carissa came home thinking most boys were not so cute this year. But it was money well spent they are ready for high school.

The Saturday before the baby came the Adams invited Bob and Thayne to an Earthquakes soccer game! they had a great time minus the traffic, Rulon and Thayne had a blast together. I think Thayne is just like Bob he loves ALL sports, he understands them and loves to play them , ESPN sports center is always on at our house.

Here are the three swim team girls. 

Thayne started wearing a cap this year, but only when he races. He has become a fast guy, and super competitive . He also has grown an inch in 3 months. I told Bob it's like you add water and sunshine and the kids grow! Everyone has  grown a ton this summer.

Graduations, school's out!

We have had lots going on but I need to put some events on paper or I'll get too behind. So in no order we'll start with 5th and 8th grade graduations.

Emma and Thayne on the last day of school , Emma is now going to middle school.

Emma and Mrs. Reynolds she is moving to Texas, we are so sad she has been a Mom we have loved the past 3 years, and her boys are oh so cute:)

Addie felt so special she got to have her friends over to get ready for the 8th grade dance/party at the Country Club.  She got to go to her's because she was 14 Carissa didn't some were a little bitter.

Addie and her best friend Kara. these two have become best friends they are a tiny sad to go to different high schools lucky they will spend the summer together at EFY and all Stake Activities together. They are 2 peas in a pod!

Mrs. Cherepy was Addie's favorite teacher and she got her for 2 years! She made Middle school bearable, Addie couldn't have survived without her. My only regret is I never got to tell her enough how much we loved her.
