Mia Farraday
Hello! My name is Mia Farraday, and I am currently a student in the Make: Learning Lab program. Throughout the program, I have completed multiple projects, which will be posted below.

Securing Lab Coat Cuffs
A project focused on women’s attire in the workplace and the effects that it has on them. Specifically focused on women having to wear lab coats that were the incorrect size.

LCD and LED
Using Arduino Uno, this LCD and LED are controlled using potentiometers. The values for the LED will appear on the LCD.

Restaurant Data Visualization
Based on a dataset of the top 50 restaurants in the United States, visualizations were created on Google Colab using Python.

Incubator Update
Using Arduino Uno, an ESP32-CAM, and a DS18B20 temperature sensor, I upgraded a homemade incubator used for growing bacteria.

Customizable AAC device
A customizable and portable AAC device created using MIT App Inventor, a Raspberry Pi, and a 7″ touch screen. Allows nonverbal autistic individuals to communicate in multiple languages and create their own words and phrases.
