Andie 1st birthday!! Thanks to all who came!
Oh the places you'll go! Andie has emptied so many drawers and climbed right in, but she won't put the tupperware back in the drawer after she is done.
Bennet made it to the speech festival at school where he had to memorize and recite a poem. We were so proud and excited, he did really well in his presentation and in the semi-finals, then in the final when he stood up to the microphone he got really nervous! It was a good learning experience for him, he said to me when I picked him up from school, "I know I'm not going to when and I know I need to practice harder. We were just so glad he had a good time.
Family pictures we had taken By world famous Photographer Ryan Scoffield (I'll never know how we afforded his work, Oh wait it was his Christmas present from 2009 ) Thanks Ryan. We went up Little Cottonwood Canyon and had beauti-fall foliage. Dear Grandparents you do not need to print any of these santa will bring you some. Just let me, I mean santa, know what you would like.

Pens and Books -2- Halloween Spooks
Halloween! This year it rained hard untill 6:00, then is was a mad rush for the streets, then it started to rain again at about 6:45. So with umbrella in hand, Halloween was a candy, spooky, cavity bound, fun filled night!!
Mia has wanted to play in the snow since July. She was so excited when it snowed last week that we pulled out the snow clothes and made a snow man.
Mia's snow man needed a hat, and then his nose fell off so she added a lot more snow to keep his nose on. So this is Mia's idea of a snow man with a hat a nose supports!

End of Summer Review
Summer is almost over for us. Bennet starts school on Monday! So it is time to give everyone a very large, long glimpse into our summer of Enjoyment!
Enjoying being out of the summer heat! The kids wanted to decorate their beds.
Andie felt left out, so I told her her bed was decorated as a jail cell, she was not to happy about that.
Mia's princess bed
These pictures really have nothing to do with summer, but we ENJOY watching Andie grow up.
When Bennet was 3, and we would go to Lake Powell, he loved watching for buoy's with Grandma. The funny little guy could not say buoy correctly so he would pronounce it "booty." So when it was time for the boat to move he would yell, "Grandma it's booty time" and they would watch for "booty's" together. It was so funny that we couldn't correct him. Now every time we are on the boat we watch for "booty's." Since he is now six we have decided to correct him, and he now says buoy properly. We wonder how long he is going to want to watch for Booty's with his Grandma?
So we enjoyed "booty" watching.
Enjoyed everything that Lake Powell has to offer!
Enjoyed sleepy kids
Day 1
Day 2
Day 3
Enjoyed the Amazing scenery of Lake Powell.
We played in the water, and enjoyed the summer thunder storms!
Bennet turned Six in July. Mr. B loves trains and found that his head lamp works wonders for inspecting wheel to track connection!
