My favorite type of mobile game is one that is simple to understand, yet hard to put down. Here are some sketches and mockups for a simple "endless runner" type of game I worked on that shows my process of development.
The first stage consisted of just trying to come up with an overall theme, look, and feel. Here are some examples of my lead character. I played with the idea of a hamster-like creature flying through space and what that would look like. The chubbier the better!
Here is a wireframe I came up with that outlines the simple gameplay and features I might implement. When does the gameover screen popup? When can I buy something from the store? All these questions and more are answered here in the wireframe!
