Go for it. Kirk's a brawler, no stranger to getting his ass kicked. He's stubborn and prone to sudden bursts of inspiration, and has been highly trained in hand to hand combat, but at the end of the day he's still a Regular Human.

A-ok. Jim's a human with some baseline ability to shield his mind, a necessity when working in a field where regular contact with telepathic species is expected. I personally love playing with the concepts of Jim having latent/untapped telepathic or empathic ability, but keep that off the table unless it's expressly discussed as an element of the thread or PSL beforehand.

CROSS-CANON
Open to see what unfolds. Kirk is bisexual, M/M and M/F are both welcome and encouraged. I'd like some build up first to get a sense of how the characters play off each other before assuming a relationship, but I am always game to explore dynamics. Jim likes smart, difficult people capable of arguing with him and excelling in their chosen field. He's very broadly interested in people and willing to engage, but more lasting relationships aren't guaranteed.
HOOKS
CANON-POINT Flexible. I'm happy to play from any canon-point between the movies, dig into stretches of time in-between, or to use any concepts from the comics, novels, tv shows as a jumping off point or integrate them into threads.
