ATTENTION: TEH GOTHICS
You may think you know darkness, with your Sisters of Mercy devil music, your Beborn Beton songs about bodies being found, and your insistance on wearing all black. But that's nothing compared to the darkness of a rapidly-aging overweight skin, running from adulthood, complaining about the engine seals on his Craftsman riding mower, and wearing all black strictly for its "slimming effect."
To that end, please join us on Thursday, December 1st, as The RevElevens and Big Daddy Chrome make an appearance on the concert side at Alchemy. Big Daddy Chrome (which is short for "Collapsing New Buildings Falling Down on Depeche Mode) has been described as "Cash meets The Clash," "Sick of it All meets Lynyrd Skynyrd," and "Social Distortion meets The Bruisers." Between their fiery guitar riffs, boy-band-good-lucks (read: fat), and proclivity towards talking about themselves in the third person, as though they were some obnoxious street teamer(hi), this is a band that is not to be missed. The RevElevens are a horror-themed, female-fronted punk rockabilly band. Think "Billie Holiday meets the misfits."
The Nations Gothics Club will have never seen so much rock and roll. Doors are at 8.
