Milestone is a community-based nonprofit organization that has been improving local lives since 1969. Milestone provides a continuum of support, treatment, residential and vocational services to individuals with behavioral health challenges, substance use disorders intellectual disabilities and autism. QUALITY UNITS

The Milestone Health Care Quality Units serve 18 western Pennsylvania counties by providing training to developmental disability providers, thus setting the standard for care.

Milestone’s Health Care Quality Units (HCQU) are an integral part of a long-term initiative of the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) to support and improve the physical and behavioral healthcare services for citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
