so last month we went and did probably one of the most fun things we have ever done in Vegas. there is this new place that teaches you how to drift a car. they teach you for about 5 minutes and then let you go. for all the crazy fun, check out the video:

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day!
Last year's Mother's Day was fun when Mimi was pregnant because it was the real deal but this year it is really fun to spend the day honoring her incredible love, dedication, kindness, patience and motherly intuition. She does everything right.
David is one lucky little boy to have her as his mom.

david got a hair cut. . .
i guess more like a shave. . .

a couple of weeks ago, we went to texas to check out the area and had so much fun.
thank you horns for having us. we miss ya'all!

and while we were there, david started to crawl.
he also had his baby finger food for the first time as his pincer grasp developed.
soon after, he got both of his maxillary central incisors(top two front teeth)

says "a-ppa" really well and a couple of other words are forming
ate chicken for the first time and loves it
still doesn't like fruit
loves to stand and dance
he can open up cabinets

입운동: Mouth Exercise
this happened about a month ago as he is checking himself out in a mirror attached in front of him.
this sure prepared him well for saying "a-ppa" which is daddy in korean (will be posting proof soon)
...reposted, sorry about the inappropriate suggestions by youtube after the video :(

7 months going on 8
WOW, time flies. want to know what i've been up to lately?
just playing. playing with our sweet little boy :)
he has been so active these days that i can't help but to stop and play with him and watch him figure things out.
i guess that explains why i sometimes wish for little elves to come and tidy up our house at night... alas...
although he is not crawling yet(thank goodness cause i think he's going to be lightening quick once he does),
he keeps himself super busy. he goes from his tummy to his bum, to his hands and knees, then onto his feet, then to his bum and onto his hands and knees, then back to his tummy, to his back, to his tummy, on his head and toes(picture downward-facing dog pose in yoga), then back on his hands and knees, to his tummy, to his bum onto his feet, and repeat this all over again and again and again... i'm not even exaggerating!
he keeps himself busy like this when he's awake and i get tired just watching him. hew~
anyhow, here's some pictures of him.
apparently, this pony was ridden by lincoln when he was a baby too...
you think he's too big to be swaddled?

0-9 month old robe is getting a little too revealing...

at 6 1/2 month, 2 primary mandibular anterior incisors broke through...
still loves playing with (read: "attacking") daddy or picking lice for him like little monkeys...
