Halleisms!!!!

Conversation between Mylee and Halle H:Mylee why did you say No to that boy that wanted to be your boyfriend? M:BECAUSE HALLE I AM WAY TOO YOUNG TO HAVE A boyfriend! H: Well, that's not showing empathy and caring I would have said yes!!! Mylee and Halle have been asked to be in a play about the pioneers and Mylee is playing a little girl named Bodill and she was a very kind an obedient girl who died on the trek to Utah. We have been learning about her. Mylee and Halle were arguing about something and all of a sudden I hear Halle yell "Mylee you need to be more like Bodill!" Halle was so worried when she went to bed on Christmas Eve so this is the note she wrote Santa. Halle had been really sick three winters ago that she was out of school and had missed three weeks of church. She was four years old and on the third Sunday she wanted to go so bad she exclaimed "mom how am I going to learn the gospel ig I don't go to church! Continues sobbing as I tell her I am so sorry that she has to stay home. Then she wimpers, "I just want to learn the Goosssspel....:(" Halle lost her first tooth a year ago and she was terrified of the tooth fairy but at the same time she really wanted the tooth fairy to come so bad. She wanted to sleep with her sister, with me...just not by the tooth... so I finally calmed her down and left the room when I came back up I see her pillow in the hallway with her tooth under it! Problem Solved!

I am back. .. four years later. ..

Woah.... hold the phone. ..it has been four years since I have written on my blog!!!!!! Ok, I am going to have to spend the next few million posts devoted to getting caught up! Well We have moved to a new home and had another baby girl. SAMANTHA MARIE CARVER was born on December 22, 2011. I will fill you in on her more in another post.I have been feeling very inspired for awhile now to document our life better. My feelings and experiences as well as all of the family. I have been thinking a lot about Halle and so I am going to go out of the typical order. I am starting with Halle Bear. She is 8 now some fun little things about Halle are she is obsessed with all things Spiderman, Batman, Captain America...etc. Daddys girl for sure. She loves Legos and can be seen playing for hours on end building and creating. But her favorite thing is to have Daddy make her some cool things. She asks loves tetherball, she got one for her birthday, chinese jumprope, riding her bike and her motorcycle. Get favorite color is red and blue. Halles health has been a lot better the older she gets. We have been so blessed. I worry about Halle a lot. She has her health concerns and when she began school we really weren't sure how it would go. Her preschool teachers all really said she was ahead of all the others. She was already reading when she started Kindergarten. She was always very motivated and wanted to learn. She continued on first grade doing well and then I prayed so hard for her. There was a teacher that taught at her school that she had in Kindergarten that was going to leave her teaching job to be a director of a new charter school that was opening the upcoming year. We loved this teacher she always went above and beyond for Halle. So much more than I had seen teachers do so far. Abyways I felt impressed to apply to this school for my children. I immediately felt anxiety. Is it right? It is hard for me to leave the school their aunt teaches at and so many friends attend... but I was being pulled and pushed in that direction.it came to the time that I had to make the decision. Mylee didn't want to switch Halle and Abby were excited about it. Mike felt we should switch but why wasn't I feeling peace about it? One Sunday I asked Mike to fast and pray with me about this decisio and he and throughout our busy Sunday kept this prayer of school change in our hearts and prayers. I was secretly hoping Mike would just have a divine inspation that I would humbly follow. but unforTunately he said "Lisa, I keep getting the feeling that this has to be your decision. " However I k knew he wanted to switch, but he insisted that I needed to make that choice. Late that night as I toss and turn I get on my knees and pray with all my heart to Heavenly Father. I was pleading with Him, please let me know what to do. Then I say and listened and I heard in my heart Lisa you don't like change! Then my thoughts turned to Halle. Halle needed this school. Then, I knew. I really hate change. I have a hard time. But I moved around as a child 15 Times. Anyways, we made the switch and all the of my girls have the best teachers ever but especially Halle. There is a connection that Halle has with her teacher miss farley that is so special! We made the right choice! Change is good:)

We are Back!!!!!!!!

Ok! So I can't believe I haven't blogged in almost three years! That is ridiculous! So much has happened since I was last on here. We had another baby girl!!!!! Her name is Samantha Marie Carver! She was born on December 22, 2011. It was a huge adventure. That pregnancy was one for the books that's for sure. She came 5 weeks early and weighed a whopping 7 pds 5 oz. I mean if I would have carried her to term she would have been 12 pounds....ugh! She was totally healthy and has been one of the most happy and pleasant babies I have ever been around. She always smiled as an infant. She was just so happy. Hardly ever cried and slept like a champ. She had a few bumps in the road here and there in the beginning with getting her schedule figured out but other than that she rally has been a Joy. Four little girls running around has been crazy!!!!! We couldn't be happier though. Other updates. We moved into our new house and then shortly after that I was put into YW as the president..again:) I absolutely love the YW program! It is truly inspired! It is the best program for these young women to be involved in and they learn and grow so much!!! I served in YW for a little over two years and then was released due to Mike getting put into the Bishopric...again:)

The Great Comback!!!

Quick update! We now have four girls and love it. Mylee 10, Halle 8, Abby 5, and Sami 2:) needless to say we are busy! Mike is working hard he has moved up fast with the department. He is made more busy with serving in the Bishopric (again). We love it! We are happy and healthy and enthusiastic! I will fill in more soon in the mean time enjoy the pictures:)

Really, Lisa...Really...

SO.....I am so way way way late at posting...well anything at all. I have just been extremely busy...just like you all are very busy...I know. Anyways...a lot has happened since I last posted. Well, just in the month of March we had 3 birthdays in the immediate family and 6 in total and one big beautiful wedding. Adam and Stephanie were married on St. Patrick's Day! It was my Dad's birthday on the 4th of March....next was Abby...she turned 2 on the 12th....two days later on the 14th it was Mike's birthday..the big 29...and his twin Mitch...then 3 days later we had Mike's mom Pat's birthday the same day of the Big beautiful wedding of Adam and Stephanie...then 5 days later we had my birthday...of which no pictures were taken...because I am always the one taking the pictures....haha...So during this busy month we also sold our house...then the buyer was diagnosed with a brain tumor and decided not to buy our house...so back on the market we go...I was released as YW president because we were moving... then we weren't moving...I was so very sad to not be in YW and still am...Mike is still in the Bishopric...we took the house off the market for two weeks and then someone really wanted to see our house and kept asking our agent and we said...what will it hurt? Long story short...they ended up giving us a better offer and now we will close in 2 weeks....we found a new house and put an offer in and they accepted...so we will move into our new home on May 28...after a short stay with Mike's generous parents...WE ARE SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! So that is a quick little update...more details later....

Quick Update...

Wow! We have been way busy...Quick update..all is well...Halloween went well. Thanksgiving was great! Mom made her famous ribbon salad. It was nice to be together. Abby was a stinker the whole day. We got some family pictures..thanks Anna! Overall, there is one word to describe life right now BUSY! The past two months have meshed into one big month and now Christmas is coming. Mom came out with Anna and I in the wee hours of the morning. It was nice to be together and get some great deals. I want to take time to really enjoy Christmas this year.

Halle is 4

Halle is 4 and we can't believe it...she is such a joy in our lives. She keeps us on our toes. She had a fun birhtday party with all of her friends...she is so loved. Happy Birthday Halle! Mike took a picture of her when she woke up in the morning. She got to have her traditional birthday breakfast with daddy. She had a halloween themed birthday party and had so much fun with everyone. Dad got her spiderman pajamas and those are by far her favorite thing...she is so funny.
