more December fun - trip to SF, Tilden Park with Aumans

We had so many adventures this Christmas season! We went to Tilden Park with my family to see the farm animals and ride the carousel and the train, made gingerbread houses, met Matt in SF for ice skating, and went to an ice skating New Years Eve party with a bunch of people from our ward. We discovered that Nora LOVES ice skating. She ice skated for hours and hours in a row, and only got off the ice when the ice rink closed. It was fun to see her take to something like that, rather than whine about being cold and tired (which, let's be honest, is what we thought she'd do). What a funny girly.

Owen loved ice skating too, and was determined to do it by himself. After a couple falls, this is how he compromised..... I think he looks like spider with those long long legs. :)

Christmas 2014 - Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

We got to spend Christmas Eve with lots of family. First, we went with the Farrells to the Peterson's house for homemade pizza and a nativity. I love it when all the Farrell cousins get together - they have so much fun together! We then sped over to grandma Bromley's house for more nativity and red velvet cake, then off to home to hop in bed for Santa! On Christmas morning we stayed at our house and opened presents, then headed to San Jose for Christmas dinner with grandma and grandpa Auman and Karen.

Becca and Tyler, being the resident newlyweds, got to be Joseph and Mary, but Nora also wanted to be Mary, so she tagged along with Becca.

Becca and Tyler's wedding!

Becca and Tyler got married the Saturday before Christmas. It was a crazy and fun day. All the sisters were bridesmaids and had pretty navy dresses. The little girlies all wore ivory lace dresses, and since I'm the only one with boys, I got to decide what they wore. I made them cream vests and orange bowties. They were so handsome! Becca and Tyler were late to their ceremony, so we had some craziness trying to get everyone in to the temple, but it all turned out great. They had a beautiful reception that night in the Veteran's Hall in Danville. So much fun!
