Mobile World Capital Barcelona wants to be a global reference to build a more sustainable future through the humanistic use of technology. The Foundation maximizes MWC’s legacy by promoting initiatives in the fields of technology transfer, promotion of digital talent, development of innovative technological projects to impact society and the generation and distribution of knowledge.
Technology Transfer
We support scientific and deep tech projects in their transition from the lab to the market, through our own technology transfer methodology. We occupy a unique space in Europe within the ecosystem of initiatives to help and support the creation of scientific spin-offs.
Tech4Good
We promote projects that are based on digital technologies and have the vocation to improve society and industrial processes. With this objective in mind, a methodology based on these four main areas of work is applied: Lab, Digital Services, Engagement with Civil Society and Observatory.
Digital Talent
We promote economic development through the generation of new digital talent, fostering training in digital skills, the reskilling of professionals and the attraction and recruitment of new talent with the aim of positioning Barcelona as a capital of digital talent.

In the recent edition of MWC Barcelona 2024, MWCapital united the history and innovative tradition of Barcelona with the present and the future, putting people and sustainability at the center.
Stand at 4YFN
MWCapital has its own stand at this event, where it exhibits all its Tech Transfer projects and gives visibility to the startups created during the last year thanks to its Venture Building program specialized in deeptech and the partnership with the European Innovation Council.
Talent Arena
Mobile World Capital Barcelona drives Talent Arena, an event dedicated to digital talent. Talent Arena, a co-located event with MWC Barcelona, brings together developers, leading tech companies, and educational institutions to foster learning, networking, and professional growth in the digital field.
Beat Barcelona
BEAT BARCELONA is the official afterwork of MWC Barcelona, a multi-sensory experience that combines art, design, technology, music and gastronomy, with the participation of acclaimed local and international pioneers, which seeks to offer moments to socialize and strengthen the relationships that are forged during MWC Barcelona.
