🚀 Press Releases and Product Launches

Modulight Introduces High-Power Yellow and Orange Lasers to Bridge the “Yellow-Orange Gap”

Modulight announces yellow and orange laser wavelengths with several watts of output power, excellent beam quality, and unmatched flexibility. Traditionally difficult to achieve, Modulight’s VECSEL-based ML6600 series lasers now close the yellow-orange gap between 570 and 630 nm.

Modulight Launches ML6600-Based Mid-IR Laser for Medical, Aerospace, and Remote Sensing Applications

A new addition to Modulight’s Fiber Laser Portfolio, ML6615, is a Mid-IR laser with 2.7–3 µm wavelength. The ML6615 laser is well-suited for soft tissue and dental treatments, and cutting, welding, and micro-machining polymers and certain glasses and ceramics. In aerospace and remote sensing, the system opens possibilities for specialized applications such as humidity and remote sensing tasks. ML6615 delivers up to 10 W of output power, supportiong both CW and QCW operating modes.

Modulight Expands DBR MOPA Portfolio with Highly Stable Fiber-Coupled System

Building on the earlier introduction of a tapered amplifier portfolio, Modulight now offers a highly stable, fiber-coupled DBR MOPA system designed for demanding applications requiring exceptional robustness and ease of integration. This DBR MOPA systems answer to the need of quantum technology, high-precision timing, sensing, and spectroscopy applications, providing 750 nm…1100 nm wavelengths and over 1 W of free-space output power.

Modulight Introduces a 785 nm Single-Frequency Laser with High Power and Stability for Raman Spectroscopy

ML6660 is Modulight’s new, spectroscopy-optimized laser platform, which is now launched with 785 nm DBR laser configuration. It offers exceptional wavelength stability and high single-mode output powers. The laser is especially well-suited for Raman spectroscopy.

New Portfolio of Single-Frequency DBR and DFB Lasers and High-Power Tapered Amplifiers for Quantum and Precision Applications

Modulight’s new portfolio of single-frequency DBR and DFB lasers and high-power tapered amplifiers is targeted for quantum sensing and quantum computing applications. Additionally, these products are used in magnetometers, spectroscopy, atomic clocks, metrology, and manipulating atoms.
